“Well, if you eat here as often as I do, then you already know that some evenings both drive thru lines will be backed up through the parking lot. They seem to be quick in getting you taken care of regardless of how busy they may be. And of course I can't forget to mention they are famous for the 45 different milkshakes they have to choose from. My favorite is Peanut Butter with Banana, with hot fudge! The food has always been great, and I'll definitely be back with friends or family, maybe both. Definitely recommended for everyone to try if you want to eat something better than McDonald's or Burger King. “This is hands down my favorite restaurant in Hickory. Not only is the food delicious, but the owner has gone out of her way to offer an entire menu to people like myself who cannot have gluten. Going to a restaurant nowadays and looking to see if anything is gluten free is always a toss up. Charlie Granger's is the only place where I can come and feel like I can order as a normal person. Getting a burger and fries may not seem like a big deal, but for someone like me who usually can't do it, eating at Charlie Grangers's is a dream come true. All the food is delicious regardless if it's gluten free or not. My wife loves the shrimp burger, and my in laws love the hot dogs. So give this place a try. “I grew up in a small town and there was a diner run by a Dad and Mom and the kids. This was that diner. It consists of: give your order, grab your drinks, retrieve your meal when announced and bus your table. I loved it. The folks were kind and willing to tell me the history of a family run business since 1932. And my breakfast, heaped with goodness, for under $10. It all screams: welcome home.“

“Hey! For the price, this place rocks! Especially if you’re a poor college student desperate for a cheap bite! The hotdog combo comes with chips and a drink at no additional charge. I ordered off of door dash for delivery, and was shocked at how cheap it still was! Usually the toppings are what makes a hotdog good, but these hotdogs themselves bring enough flavor to the party and would be quite enjoyable even if you ate them plain! Also the sweet tea is perfect! Highly recommend!“

“Delicious food. My kids and I absolutely love eating here. The food is consistently great and the costumer service has been wonderful the past few times I've gone.
