“My hubby took me here for Valentine's day dinner. We got there early because of his work schedule. It was quiet and we're seated right away. Waiters name tag said trainee. He was polite and prompt with drink refills and food. I got the number 1, it comes with white rice, broccoli, steamed carrots, chicken, 2 shrimp, and your choice of either pork tenderloin or steak, add spring roll. I chose steak but i have had pork tenderloin before. It's 12.99, and Luke with everything else prices have gone up and quantity of food has gone down. The food still has the same quality in taste in my opinion which is a food thing. My husband got the number 18 which comes with vermicelli noodles chicken, 2 shrimp, and either pork or steak, spring roll as well. It also is 12.99. We both really enjoyed the meal and definitely will go back again.“

“Taste Full Beans has been around the Hickory area for quite some time. Offering up many different beverages, ice cream, and even vegan food options! Granted, I've never had the chance to try their plant based selections- it's a great idea because not too many places in the area offer things like tempeh! I can vouch for the flavor of their coffees, and they have a good selection of syrups and flavors as well- however, the matcha was not it. I think it was WAY too watered down, didn't pack a punch, and as my husband described it "tasted like matcha flavored water." I would love to try another matcha because maybe whoever made ours wasn't experienced, but both of our drinks definitely needed more matcha powder so we were pretty disappointed! As far as the service goes, the employees are insanely sweet. You can tell they are back there working super hard, and care about their customers. The atmosphere of the restaurant as a whole is really fun- good vibes, live music, lots of laughs and conversations. It's a great place to go to hang out, but I wouldn't recommend trying to study here! Come relax, enjoy the music, your coffee and a good chat!“

“The hostesses were lacking. Came at lunch time on Thursday and there were two of them. It was difficult to get an answer out of them other than a 20-minute wait. We finally said okay and we waited. My questions were about outside or were there enough tables in the back that we would be seated in a timely manner. They could not comprehend our questions. They were very young.“

“I love going to Mellow Mushroom. They never disappoint. I had time between showings and stopped in for lunch. I like all the statues and decor. I had the Hawaiian style pizza. Delicious. The wait staff was good. The restaurant was clean. Will definitely be back!“
