Agave is a must-stop for anyone who is looking for a great modern Mexican experience. The food and drinks are superb, and the staff is very attentive and professional, great music and a welcoming environment. If this restaurant were in your city it would be your #1 option for Mexican nights.
This might not be fair. We are basically tourists who showed up with a local, who mattered to them.We got extra attention, but we were there late and the place had cleared out.Chatting w/ the Manager who was working the bar, he lifted his chin at the menu and said, "Just tell me what you want, and we'll make it happen."Excellent food. Prior to our most recent visit (April 4, 2024), we last visited Agave Roja in April of 2021, amid COVID restrictions. We are so happy that this place made it through the hard times and is still here serving the same AMAZING food.On our most recent visit, we arrived just as they opened and the food was phenomenal. Chicken fajitas, steak fajitas, and carne enchiladas - all were 5 stars!We look forward to visiting Agave Roja again soon!
