“Are these the best bagels I’ve ever had? They are good, but probably not the best. But that doesn’t matter. You can tell when you come here and interact with the staff and eat their food that they care about what they do. There is something nice about a business that specializes in one thing. These bagels are outstanding and their breakfast sandwiches are excellent. The staff is very outgoing and friendly. We witnessed them be patient and understanding with small children who didn’t know what to order.Have always loved coming here and I look forward to coming back again.“

“Super quick lunch stop before our wild horse tour. Food came out very fast and was a nice portion to share. We got the half chicken with cornbread, mac and cheese and coleslaw. Chicken was nice and juicy! A nice last minute stop, give it a try.“

“Me and my husband came in from out of town and were looking for a spot to get a drink and some quick grub. If you been to the outerbanks prior then you are aware that all places usually close the kitchen by like 8 pm, especially around this time of the year. We came to Ike’s around 10 pm and even though the kitchen was closed they surprised us and made fries, wings and mozzarella sticks. Let me say the at food was plentiful and tasted great. The margaritas were on point and every one was so friendly and welcoming. Music was also jamming. We will be back and glad we came in. Thanks for the hospitality everyone.“

“Prior to our most recent visit (April 4, 2024), we last visited Agave Roja in April of 2021, amid COVID restrictions. We are so happy that this place made it through the hard times and is still here serving the same AMAZING food.On our most recent visit, we arrived just as they opened and the food was phenomenal. Chicken fajitas, steak fajitas, and carne enchiladas - all were 5 stars! We look forward to visiting Agave Roja again soon!“

“The food was absolutely fantastic! A lady working at the Hampton Inn suggested the Urban Kitchen and said that of all the places to eat on the Outer Banks this was her favorite. She showed us a listing of all the restaurants and this is the one we picked after asking multiple questions. She did not steer us wrong. Go try it. You won’t break the bank either!“

“Really enjoy this place. Great food, with friendly service. A bit dark inside and not overly spacious, but the two times we've gone for dinner, we were able to get a table. Close to our OBX neighborhood and to many others. At the south end of Tim Buck II near the Brew Thru with its own parking area... very convenient.“

“Was craving their cream of asparagus soup & strawberry martini made from purée of local strawberries. Did not disappoint! Also tried beef short rib bolognese over penne. Great hearty flavor. Homemade roasted garlic focaccia bread was also excellent!! Strawberry martini was a bit on the sweet side but still enjoyed it!“
