My husband and I wanted to try something different for breakfast one Saturday morning, so we ventured to The Egg in Davidson. When we arrived at 8:45am they weren't very crowded, but the restaurant filled up soon after. We had several servers visit our table shortly after arriving to take our drink and food orders. A charming little breakfast and brunch place who has a wide selection of funny/cute mugs for their coffee. I've been here a couple of times and it hasn't disappointed so far, just a nice sit down for omelettes and such. A little busy on Sundays but they serve all day breakfast (on Sundays) there. Nothing really stellar in terms of quality, they use low quality ingredients but to the best of their abilities. The food was great as always, the table service was great. However, we were a party of six and had to wait close to 20 minutes for the only table setting they apparently allow for a party over 4. There were more tables they could put together but apparently management disapproved of that action. Although I'm sure we'll be back, that's the kind of thing that sticks with you.
