What a cute little roadside place! Cash only!!! You can phone ahead with about 20 minute lead time. The refried beans are the best I have ever had. They're flavorful and somewhat spicy; a good spice that hits nicely in the back of the palate. I usually get the ACP. The rice is soft and flavorful in its own. For the area this is a decent option for what I would call a Texmex restaurant, in my opinion the food wasn’t authentic Mexican. We got the taco plate and beef nachos while both were good there definitely could have been some improvements. Authentic tacos are usually served on corn tortillas with cilantro and onions, I didn’t see that as a option on the menu but the American tacos I got were good but would have been better with some onion and corn tortillas.

Vilma’s was highly recommend by a coworker. Being I’m Hispanic (Gloria) know what authentic is, this place takes the cake. We’ve tried the spicy pork (yum-O) and the shredded chicken tacos. We’re definitely going back, even if it’s out of our way. It’s worth the travel…. Oh, by the way, it’s cash only. Thanks for the recommendation Tyler!!!
