I contracted really bad food poisoning last May 2023 from an order of cajun shrimp, red rice & beans on a Saturday evening. Started feeling really off Sunday morning, was vomiting non-stop had bad diarrhea and was in bed extremely ill due to i and had to miss two days of work until symptoms subsided.. It scared me so bad that I've stopped eating Popeye's altogether because of it.

It is hard to believe…this Popeyes is a cut above the rest. The food is always fresh. Customer service is consistently top notch. Despite long lines, the staff manages service efficiently! What is unbelievable is that no what time you visit, the service and food is consistent! I drive pretty far just for the experience at this location. Kudos to management and the staff. I’m sure it’s not easy maintaining this level of service from day to day but all of your expectations, rules and tasks are well worth it! Thank you for amazing work! Please continue
Called because my door dashboard order was incomplete, lady on the phone was rude and told me it was not there problem that I had to contact doordash when I simple was asking to get my fries for my order, worst customer service ever, they won't send your complete order but their also are not willing to help a customer.

I dine at the Popeyes on Guess Road in Durham NC once or twice each month. I'm usually very pleased with the food and speed of service. When I dined in on Sunday night (March 3), the food and service were good as usual. However, between 8:45 pm and 9:00 pm, some customers (a young man and two girls) entered who brought their puppy inside. One of the girls was holding the puppy while waiting for their order. They were in the store about 5 minutes. Before they left, one of them brushed the puppy hair off the girl's shoulder onto the floor and some hair went on the counter where customers place their trays after they finish dining. I was surprised that the manager did not ask them to take the puppy outside. I approached the manager about this after they left; he's always very nice but said he didn't want to get cussed out for asking someone to take their dog outside.I'll think twice about eating at this restaurant or ordering food from here again.Parking: 20+ parking spaces available

The food is awful now. I do not know what happened, but the chicken has no flavor. The last few times, the order has been wrong. When it was new the food was good now it is not. I think im done with this place.
Check it out! I dashed there last night. I was amazed! And I'm not easily to please lol. The establishment was CLEAN, the employees looked busy & business like, but informal. Friendly. It was inviting. Everybody's uniform or clothes ensemble was clean. The chicken was placed out, bins full! Everything looks great. I complimented the staff. I'm pleased to have this opportunity to leave this review because I wanted to let corporate know the same. Whoever is in charge over there they're doing an excellent job & it's a remarkable difference than my prior visits.
