Just happened to find this place by chance when looking for a lunch place to dine with colleagues in downtown Durham. Was walking distance from Main street. Flavorful and more importantly fresh food, cooked fresh right on site. Much better taste and prices especially for vegetarian food than you get at other busier and overpriced locations in downtown Durham. Small mom and pop establishment that absolutely values the customer. Very friendly owners and chef. They run a take out and catering service too. Nice ambience. Great prices and again most important fresh food full of flavor.Vegetarian options: Fresh and unusually flavorful vegetables and tofu dishes

We stumbled across this place on a cold dark evening walking through Durham. The service was amazing and sincere. The food was excellent! Ample portions at a very fair price. We visited a few weeks later and had another great experience. The owner made us feel right at home and was very proud of his restaurant. We were craving the Sesame Chicken just now!Dietary restrictions: Accomodations for gluten free

Never answers the phone, or confirms online orders. I guess they don't want my business

Food was good. I had the General Taos it was to spicy that it over powered the other food I ordered. I literally had to drink water after every bite. The Bang Bang shrimp was good.

Walking through downtown Durham while waiting to attend an event I was drawn into Sprihg Rolls. This was not due to an aroma or a sign, but by one of the staff members Radley. I was looking at their menu outside when the door suddenly opened, and here is this attractive dude telling me to come in out of the cold. He hands me a menu and asks me a series of questions, and tells me to stay. After checking out the menu, I decided to stay and sit at the bar. We continued our conversation while I sipped some water and ordered broccoli and chicken. The owner, Eddy, appears out of nowhere and chats it up with me. Eddy told me about how they opened during the pandemic and somehow stayed afloat on to go orders. Now, they stay pretty busy and have community events throughout the month. Then, a challenge from the owner to play jenga. As we played, my food came out pipping hot. The broccoli had a slight crunch, and the brown sauce that topped the other vegetables and chicken was light and not sweet or overpowering. The brown rice was okay, but I think next time, I will try their fried rice.I continued to dig in while I lost at jenga.Five stars for this gem on main street. The food was fresh and delicious; and they were super generous with their portions. Also, where can you go, and you end up playing jenga with the owner? I will be back!

Our first visit this evening left us amazed we had not visited sooner. Distinctively excellent flavors. All the dishes were very fresh--traditional appetizers like egg rolls and vegetable tempura just were better than anywhere else in town. Service was quite friendly and its a bit surprising the space was nearly empty--its cozy and wonderfully located. Highly recommend.

Hands down, BEST Lo Mein and Sesame Chicken and Spring Rolls i've had since moving out of NY. i have tried several different Chinese restaurants in the Durham area, in Phoenix AZ, and in upstate NY. I LOVE Chinese food and this place blows every other restaurant i've tried out of the water.

Purchase about 80 dollars worth of food. It was terrible!! Sesame chicken was tough, rice tasted awful! We ended up throwing out the food. Please go somewhere else this is not it.

Ate here for the first time recently and ohemgee! This has to be the freshest Chinese I've had in forever, if not ever, living in Durham as long as I have. Everything is made to order, the entree portions are HUGE, and the prices are more than reasonable for what you get. I recommend the House Singapore Noodles. Def coming back here with more friends!
