This place had the best subs I've ever tasted and now I can understand why firefighters fightKid-friendliness: They had things that kid's could understand and inspire to

I am done. Have been going here since the opened about 10 yrs ago, every single time, EVERY time, they forget part of the order, and with 8 children, it get really expensive to have Firehouse not give the complete order. Well they just did it AGAIN. Placed an order for 3 sandwiches with chips and soda, guess Firehouse decided we didn't deserve what we paid for. I'm guessing this is very common and how they're making a profit.

The Firehouse in Elizabeth City is now charging the cost of a fountain drink for a glass of filtered E-City water. The atmosphere is the workers arguing with each other and making fun of coworkers at the top of their lungs.-scratch this one off the lunch routine.

The food was amazing but the staff and the conversation in the dinning room was less than professional. Don't get me wrong we have eaten here several times and always loved it, but the staff and their talk in the open dining room area was less than professional, and made dining in to a point that we just left.

Ordered via DoorDash. Online menu charges extra for garlic and butter on the garlic bread? More amazing there was hardly any on the bread. Loaded potato soup wasn't exactly loaded, charged extra for cheese and bacon so be prepared to pay for more loading in the "loaded" soup. There weren't many potatoes in my "bowl", portion very small for the price. I love Firehouse, but this was a bad experience. The topper, they forgot my cookie.

Clean location, polite and efficient customer service, and the food was delicious. I tried the Jamaican Jerk Turkey sub for the first time and it was super yummy and hit the spot.

I usually have amazing service at every Firehouse Subs I go to. Today it was like none of the employees want to work. My online order was not ready when I got there. Was finally ready 10 minutes after it was supposed to be. There were 4 people working on the food line and I think they thought they were turtles as slow as they were moving. I got no sorry you had to wait or anything. Food was prepared wrong too. Asked for no green peppers and got green peppers. First time ever that my food has been wrong. It has probably been about 6 months or more since I've been in this particular store and boy has it changed.

Pricing is alittle excessive but I absolutely love the food here. I am always greeted when I walk in and I've never had an issue with my order here. Great place to eat.

Wasn't satisfied by no means! Place was dirty took way longer than most places and wasn't busy at all and the food was unpleasant to say the least! Won't stop here again!

Ordered a “build your own “ on line. Although standard addition for the turkey sub is Provalone, the sandwich contained no cheese. Specified deli mustard which was an option instead of mayo, no mustard or even the standard Mayo was on the sandwich. Added cucumbers from the “additional veggies” option but those were not included. I guess “build your own” simply isn’t possible.

Firehouse Subs has THE BEST subs, hands down. From the meats to veggies to condiments to the amazing bread ... you can't get a better sub anywhere. You can order small, medium or large, to suit your appetite. The staff is hardworking and very pleasant. Want an unusual sauce for your sandwich? They have dozens of sauces! Just try it--you'll never go to that other place with the mystery meat again!

My hook and ladder sub had bbq sauce on outside of sub roll which was white and not wheat as requested.
