DO NOT GO HERE! We made an order from door dash. We did not get what we ordered. I called the store there was only one person working there. I told him we didn’t get what we ordered he said they were out of all of the items. He said he forgot the pecan pie. I could come get them. He said a manager would be in until the morning. This is so ridiculous, and so disrespectful. If you don’t have it call the customer!

I just paid 17 dollars for terrible food. This is not homemade food. You think when you are buying ‘locally’ and pay as much as you do, you are getting real food. Brisket - awful. Dry and grainy. Same with the pulled pork. I ordered a side of spicy sauce, said it three times, got sweet instead. Their ‘system’ is down. Apparently I got ‘lucky’ that I could pay with their Apple device even though the other device was down. Mashed potatoes - I could have bought an entire box of the same instant mashed potatoes for what I paid. Food is terrible! The positive reviews are obviously friends of the new owners. A review said they came from Texas or something and it was comparable - IMPOSSIBLE.Sadly, people will come here and expect true BBQ and will only get garbage. Go next door, pay half the price at Subway for fake food.

This Dickey's has gone way down. The employees don't know the difference between Brisket and pork. This is the 2nd time we have ordered Brisket and gotten chopped pork. The chicken was over smoked and DRY. Couple of weeks ago they didn't have much product at all and management there from another stor in Rutherford County who was apologizing for this and that and she was there to fix the problems and now they are worse with the quality of the product. Not sure I will ever go back to this location.

I really love this place, the food is good, the staff are really nice, and the brisket is wonderful. A personal highlight for me is the fried okra. I wish they still had baked potatoes, but they don’t. If they have it, you should get the pecan pie. It is totally worth the calories.

AVOID EATING HERE!!!This place is a total nightmare. Definitely not the same as it used to be. My family and I are completely shocked by our experience today. We went to have lunch and the minute we walk in there were red flags. The ice machine wasn't working so one of the employees was on a stool pushing ice around with his bare hands into the drink machine. This particular employee didn't seem to be all there because the manager had to keep correcting him and telling him what to do. He was just really odd. I assume that he is the one who kept scooping out sides and setting them out for other orders. Which means the same was happening with meats. I saw the manager take meat that was left out and throw it in the trash. Before leaving I noticed the odd employee had taken more sides and set them on top of the containers of other sides. Someone needs to teach food temps and safe food handling!!!!The manager told me there wasn't much of any sides left and that there was no spinach. Mind you this was right after they had opened for the day. We order and pay. Get drinks with no ice because the machine still wasn't working. One lady was waiting forever for her food and gave up and asked for hers to go. We waited and waited. The employees were all over the place trying to prepare our plates. 30 minutes later we get our food. We found the food to be cold and dried out. The brisket and pulled pork weren't even warm. It was cold and we weren't about to risk food poisoning. I was given a hamburger bun top instead of toast. That was the last straw for me so I asked for a refund.Apparently this location has had a lot of problems as you can read the previous reviews. There was even a gentleman sitting close by who I assume was from corporate. He had a laptop and was observing what all was going on. He wasn't too happy and kept mumbling things to himself and approaching the employees and telling them what to do.The guy that gave us a refund handed me a handful of gift cards and coupons then apologized. Come to find out those expired in 2022. We will never return.

On the evening of 3-19, I placed an online order for pick. The order was to have 2 pulled pork sandwiches, a side of Cole slaw and a side of Mac and cheese. I also ordered an extra side of baked beans. Total order was 35 and some change. When I got home with the order, this is what I got. Two pork sandwiches that were not pulled but chopped with a knife. There was much fat/gristle,On both sandwiches. Not good. I also noticed that my side of baked beans was not packed. The beans alone were 3.00 If I did not have to drive back across, I would have brought the order back for a refund or make the order right. This is one bbq restaurant that I will never visit again.

Had a catering order. Placed and paid for 2 days before pickup. Order was not ready at appointed time. Only 1 employee. At least a dozen waiting to order lunch. They need to hire a couple more people.

The food looked old and dry. The Brisket was chewy and stringy. Cole slaw tasted off and the fries were cold and soggy. Waste of money. Horrible experience. Won't be back.

Hendersonville Dickeys was my fiancé and I’s favorite place to eat hands down for the longest time. We ate there several times a week to the point that the owner and all the staff knew us and knew our order. They always provided prompt service no matter how busy they were. They never were out of any product, messed up an order, or anything like that. Now that they have gotten new owners and all new staff, they are consistently out of product, their service has became slow, even on days with few customers waiting, and the staff do not appear to be professional and trained like the previous staff were. I hope the new owners read this and correct some of the issues before all the customers that were loyal to this place no longer want to dine there due to the declining experience.

New owner and manager are awful. Give their employee the run around by not paying and withholding tips. None of the employees have received their credit card tips and the hard working employees have to weekly ask for thier pay. There is zero appreciation for the employees . Knowingly and wilfully not paying people is not only disturbingly wrong. It is illegal.
