“My wife and I got lunch from Mr Kofta's for our first time today. The lady who helped us was polite, friendly, and helpful and the food came out in a very reasonable amount of time. We ate at a nearby park. The food was DELICIOUS and the portion sizes were big enough that we have leftovers for dinner tonight. I loved that the flavors are so different than "the usual food" around here. Great for something different. Looking forward to going back and trying out more of their dishes.”

“Very happy to find such a bright and airy restaurant with great vegan options!Edit : Both times we went, their hospitality has been second to none. From the moment we walked in until we finished our food we were greeted and checked in on by who I believe were the owners.”

“Quant and genuine southern food. The service was quick and thorough. I had chicken, watermelon, limas and cornbread. The portions were a tad on the small side compared to other places but i was full when i left and the price matched the portions, when i got the check it felt reasonable. 10/10 would come again.”

“It's one of the most chilled places to eat ice creams, drinks, food, etc. The service is family friendly. The prices are fair. I highly recommend this place ?.”

“Lots of good choices of great food. You get a BUNCH of fries with a combo meal. We take the Grandkids there so they can get their choice of ice cream. With they didn't have TVs. If you park in a Handicapped spot, you have to back out into the drive-thru lane to leave. Not sure what can be done about it.”

“We found Taco Loco looking for lunch after leaving the NC Zoo. We were very pleased with it. It's on a vibrant and fun revitalized main street in old town Asheboro and the restaurant was clean, modern, and pleasant. The service was top-notch, and the menu and food very good. The corn tortillas are made in-house, and are tender and tasty. I got the spicy pork tacos. Very good. I'd go back if if I'm ever in the area again.”

“Me & My Wife, Mother and My Brother all went to eat on a Friday around 11:30AM. We waited a max of five minutes. We was seated it was not crowded. The waitress was amazing with getting our orders put in and it was back quickly. Which it kinda of scared me, but to my surprise the food was fresh, had amazing flavor, and was hot. I would recommend that if you wanted a great breakfast and good place to catch up with family or friends, this is the perfect place for that. I will be returning.Parking: Lots Of Parking Plenty Of RoomKid-friendliness: Great Atmosphere For ChildrenWheelchair accessibility: They have wheelchair accessible ramps”

“The food was okay, but a bit bland. Not as good as a couple of the Vietnamese restaurants we've been to in Greensboro. I was astonished at the prices since the restaurant only had two dollar marks. I honestly expected the prices to be lower. I agree with Darius. It wasn't really worth the big price. Our stir-frys were all $14.95 (two tofu and one chicken) We were three people, and they served us one at a time. I guess they cooked our meals one at a time, but it meant that my companions had to either watch me eat while they had nothing, or I had to wait until their meals came and my food got cold. We were the only patrons in the restaurant at the time we ordered. One more lady came in after we started getting our food. We got there at about 1:30. My daughter and I both prefer to be vegetarians, and the pickings are slim for people with that preference, because of the abundance of pork on the menu, which none of us eat at all. I would be willing to try again, and try one of the lunch specials for 15% off the big price, but I will just drink water to bring the cost down a bit! The ambiance was okay. Nothing special, that's for sure, but clean and fresh. Our waitress was friendly and cheerful. She was a bit too personal, though, which we normally like, but I think we felt uncomfortable when she compared my husband to her 80-year old grandfather who just died, and she cried. I guess it might have been just over the line, since this was our first time there.”

“My husband and I had breakfast there for the first time last weekend. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, food and the staff. Food was good and our waitress was nice. I loved how the staff knew everyone by name. Just a great little down home diner! We'll definitely be back!”

“So glad we decided to eat here during our stay in Asheboro. The young woman who took our order was helpful, kind and welcoming. The food was EXCELLENT! I had the cheesesteak special with fries. The fries had a really good seasoning on them and the cheesesteak was very good. My husband had the large calzone- it was HUGE and also very good. Highly recommend! They had a cute little section to sit in beside the ordering stand. It was a little hidden- really glad we found that because we had a toddler who needed a highchair.”

“The 5 star reviews are well deserved. So glad we had a chance to try La Escondidita Mexican Kitchen while passing through Asheboro and can't wait for the next opportunity to try other items from their menu. Food was authentic, made to order, and now one of my new top 5 Mexican restaurants. Vibrant, compact setting is a great description for this place, and the service was on point.”

“Perfect place to eat when you are looking for a home-cooked style meal. The food here is always delicious and prices are very reasonable. I love that you can walk in to choose your plate items immediately, cafeteria style, or you can order items from the menu. Either way, you can't go wrong with anything you choose here. Check out their daily specials, too. This is one of my favorite places to eat in Asheboro, I am never disappointed!”

“I forgot to leave a review last time I was here so I'm going to do it before I finish eating this time. This place is AWESOME. I'd pick this place over Moe's or Chipotle hundred times out of a hundred. The food is all so fresh and delicious and the portions are HUGE. This is our go to spot when we are in Ashboro. Highly recommended!”

“Great brewery. Server was knowledgeable and nice. Also very attentive and gave great recommendations. They let you bring food from outside (food truck was great "Las Cebollitas"). It was in a great location and the crowd was calm in the weekday. Would go again.”

“We saw this place close to where we had lunch for the day, and were really interested! I got a scoop of ice cream, and my partner got a paleta. I got the mint chocolate chip, and it was very unique in its color and flavor. The ice cream was thick and interesting. The paleta was delicious! The person that sold us the items let us know since the paleta we ordered was a water-based one, to let it sit for a little bit before having some since it was pretty hard. The inside of the store is really cozy and comfortable. I liked it here a lot and would come back to try more!”

“Yesterday we had our first meal here, and we know it is the first of many. First I have to say the salsa is scrumptious. One of us had the Chicken Fajitas and felt it was one of the best ever. I had the California Chicken Burrito, and it was exceptional. The atmosphere is a beautiful blend of neutral walls, wooden beams and large windows with beautiful Mexican art work. It feels up to date and welcoming while not being predictable or kitchie. The wait staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. Tres Garcias did not disappoint, and we will definitely be dining there regularly. Enjoy!”

“First time customer, long-time visitor to downtown Asheboro. I was flying solo this particular evening and decided to give OG’s a try. Downstairs is typical booth, sit-down seating. The bar is upstairs, and standard in size and appearance for more sports bars. Plenty of big screen TV’s upstairs to see whatever sporting event is on.Beer options are plenty, as too was the vast collection of liquors along the backside of the bar. The menu offers options for any mood: Pizza, calzones, Stromboli’s, pasta, subs, hamburgers, gyros, wings, wraps, salads, tacos, and full entree Mexican options…it’s mixed bag and really more options than anyone would need. But, if you don’t know what you want to eat, odds are you’ll find it on their menu.I ordered the chicken gyro with chips. The chips were crispy and delicious as advertised in other reviews. The gyro had good flavor but the tenderness was too overcooked - chicken was too dry, but that is common among most restaurants because they want to make sure it’s done (the USDA has people overcooking chicken with their recommended internal temps). I followed up with an order of teriyaki chicken wings that were cooked to perfection - crispy! In fact, they were so good, I forgot to take a picture. I’ll definitely be back to try several other items on the menu.”
