This has been my go-to Chinese restaurant for years. I've tried others in the area and this one by far is the best. The family that runs it has been there since day one and his friendly and welcoming when you come in. I love the beef broccoli and the general tso's chicken. Also, they're hot and sour soup is great for cold days or feeling under the weather. Food is typically ready within 15 to 20 minutes no matter how much you order! Definitely recommend you give them a try!

Great place. I know I know, I don’t like when people that say “Im from NY” either but… I grew up in NYC and this Chinese restaurant is the closest I’ve had to good NY Chinese food. I’ve been in NC since 2010 and have tasted just above every restaurant here and this New Rainbow is where it is :). I actually been eating from here for about 3 yrs now, and they never disappoint. Also, I don’t eat Chinese food a lot, but when I crave it, this is my place I get my fix. Thank you for awesome food that brings me back home (at least in mind) .

worst customer service i've had in a while. menu is misleading. overall ambiance is not positive. end up waiting a long time even if you order ahead. Food was fine but not worth the trouble, would rather go where wait time and menu descriptions are accurate
I've never really been all that into Chinese food, until i moved out here and tried this place! They really know how to make proper Chinese! I've never had general tsos chicken even half as good as this place makes them, it's so perfect, and the same goes for the eggrolls and wonton soup as well. I'm just so glad i found this place, there's absolutely no chance I'll ever be looking for Chinese food anywhere else out here again! Thank yall for going the extra mile and making sure that things are made like they're supposed to, without cutting corners for profit like most places do, and for making such amazing food! You will not be disappointed if you order here; before i found this place, maybe i would eat Chinese just once or twice a year max, but now that i know we have such a great Chinese restaurant out here, I've been ordering some every week or 2 now. It's just impossible to find general tsos chicken any better than this anywhere out here.

Chicken wings fried way too hard!!! Rice was okay. Lady at desk acts like she’s rushing you. And my main concern with Chinese food is you order the same thing but the price is never the same.

Ordered take out from this restaurant for dinner. We ordered the large size house fried rice, General Tao Chicken, beef and broccoli, chicken chow mein, sweet and sour chicken, shrimp lo mein, and fried dumplings. Price was reasonable, food was excellent and service friendly. We didn't order ahead, but for the size of our order, it was prepared quickly.
