First time ever eating here, and it was absolutely the best and all of the staff was very friendly, warm and welcoming. Everything was perfect from the stake to the drink would definitely come here again.

We had a reservation for a party of 11 to celebrate my parents 60th wedding anniversary. We had not dined here before but had heard good things. The food was very good. We were a little disappointed with the atmosphere. The inside is dark and dated and with the kitchen exposed it was loud. Our server was nice but I will say for the amount of money that was spent and a gratuity that was added on to the bill( understandable for a large party) I expected better service. My son’s steak was undercooked and my husband had to get up to get the servers attention to take the steak back to be cooked more. Also just a note. They make a big deal about the chef coming around to the table to show the cuts of meats. Not at all impressive when he is chomping on chewing gum while talking.?. Really there are other restaurants around in which you could have a steak that is just as good with the same noise level and service for a cheaper price. We knew the prices would be higher here and were okay with that but expected more for ambiance and service and we’re looking for something besides a chain restaurant.
We heard about Carl and Chelle's and decided to give them a try! It's your down home - Mom and Pop steakhouse. The decor definitely needs to be brightened up and updated. Everyone was super nice! The restaurant and rest rooms were clean. They began to fill up quickly, so although not required I would make a reservation. I was quite shocked that they still had a public salad bar! I'm not a fan of buffets or shareable bars, but I got a salad and it was good! Our server was nice and she came around with a cart with visuals and then an open piece of meat that you could choose the cut of your steak if you like. I wasn't a fan of bringing the steak to be cut to the table, but that's just me. Our food came out in good timing and no one had any major complaints, but the asparagus was a little too charred. Also for the shrimp some type of butter sauce would have been delicious. I would have also enjoyed a good sauce for the chicken breast. We did not indulge in dessert because I made a cake at home, but they do have homemade slices of cakes/pies if you would like dessert. They have their own parking lot and most dishes were about $25 and up depending on the steak you choose. Overall a pretty good place to enjoy a good meal quickly! Dress is come as you are- we dressed casual and I felt a little overdressed. So if you are celebrating- dress up, but regular clothing is acceptable here also.
This is a great hole in the wall. Very upscale, the service is great, and the food is probably the best in town for steaks. They even let you choose your own steak door them to cook for you. They have beautiful marble cut steak... and great pricing... I love it here..
The best food ,the steak was awesome, everything was 110 percent dessert was killer,has to be the best I have been to, Raleigh &ang barn eat your heart out!!!!!

Foods always good. Steaks are tasty. Salad bar is good as well. Ambiance is something out of the 80s with a Waffle House background. It's a beef master knockoff. But good overall.

This is a great hole in the wall. Very upscale, the service is great, and the food is probably the best in town for steaks. They even let you choose your own steak door them to cook for you. They have beautiful marble cut steak... and great pricing... I love it here..
