“Westerwood has held a place in my heart for about 13 years. This homey dive always feels like a welcoming spot. While I no longer live in the area, so you couldn't call me a regular anymore, I still love Westerwood. Here you can find friendly bartenders who feel like friends. A variety of draft beers, affordable liquor pricing, and a cooler of cans & bottles. It's very likely you'll be able to find something that hit the drink itch you might have. Over the years it's gotten brighter and cleaner inside but it's still that perfect homey drive. If you're in GSO looking for a bar to call home, don't skip over Westerwood. That being said, post-party via The Blind Tiger, beat out Suds, share time with the Westwoods and say hello to the folks that could be pulled over from Common Grounds! Host open mics weekly, and bring in a deejay to spin at the pop up markets would be huge! Daniel did an Awesome job hosting all varieties, ethnicities and genders of local artists! Big win.Bartenders are lovely, space has a ton of character & characters. Bathrooms just need to be tended to and all that trash in between the building and the fence needs to be cleaned out.
