Freemason Grub & Pub is no exception.The signage is challenging in the dark, but the exterior green lights likely leftover from St. Patty's helped identify them. It's an adorable two story brick with wonderful character. Parking is off street or in their own small lot in the rear.My wife and I cut our arrival a bit close after 830 with a weekday closure of 9. The interior offers a cozy vibe with wood floors, exposed brick and dimly lit dining room . The bourbon bar is the centerpiece. With closing in 20 minutes the restaurant was mostly empty.Our friendly waitress Bella was on top of drink orders. I ordered an Old Fashioned utilizing Makers bourbon with a banana flavor profile. It proved to be outstanding @ $14. Bella encouraged us to try their bbq which they are known for, we ended up both getting the Cherrywood Brisket. My wife with side of Cesar and me side of cup of chili for $1 up charge. The recommendations really made the difference.Bella brought the food out within 15 minutes. Temperatures were correct. The brisket was magnificent. Tender with fat to meat ratio. The house sauce was perfect with a slight kick. The cup of chili was yum with Navy Bean and frito corn chips on top that was unusual. My wife agreed with my assessment on the brisket and her salad was fresh.We finished out splitting a butterfinger pie which was good size for the share. It proved to be mighty tasty and not a crumb was left.Our bill was brought to us in a timely fashion to close out. Since we were out of town Bella suggested a few other local places. I would recommend Freemason and who knows may return this week.Parking: Parking in rear”

“I've now had some really good experiences with authentic Peruvian food in the past few months. The cuisine at Inka checked the boxes and was delicious! The deserts deserve a mention of their own. Nice variety and as strong as you will find in a Peruvian restaurant. The service was strong up front, then absent after the meals were dropped with no check in. This is the reason a one star was dropped and I hate that. The table shared a fried seafood appetizer which was marvelous! I had the Tauco Tauco seafood which was tasty. Portion size adequate, but a few more shrimp would have been perfect. The Pico Sour was totally yum! I was at a table of four and everyone enjoyed their meals. The desserts however were the hero with most offering authentic and made in-house. Especially enjoyed was the Chocolucama served in a jar with an impressive amount of Lucama. The house coffee was super! The bill was processed with no issue. The value was outstanding! There are a few Inka Grill's in Virginia with the original in Roanoke. A 4 star with deduction for no follow up after entrees were dropped. I would 100% return.”

“My husband and I went to Kapadokia tonight and it was AMAZING!! I'm not too familiar with Mediterranean food, but everything we had was SO good. We shared the Kapadokia sampler platter (a lot of bang for your buck - three delicious foods in one appetizer), my husband got the chicken kebabs, and I got the Kofta (lamb & beef patties). Both of our meals came with rice, salad, pita slices, cabbage, and two dips. This place is definitely worth checking out. If we were local, I have a feeling it would be a favorite date place for us (for a more casual date)! Delicious and fresh food, EXCELLENT service, clean building, and fun ethnic music. FIVE STARS!!! ?????”
“I always get takeout at lunch from here and the food is good and the portions are great, especially for these times when most places are skimping on portion size!My favorite lunch specials are the shrimp pad thai, tofu and mixed vegetables and the vegetarian street noodles. They have different lunch specials everyday. The chicken noodle soup lunch special is also good and it is the same pho soup base they use in their pho soup.The chicken curry (dinner option) is very good and I suggest adding mixed vegetables. The fresh roll appetizer and shrimp roll appetizer are excellent! If you’re feeling adventurous, try the appetizer sampler platter - you can’t go wrong!I love getting their unsweetened ice tea as it’s made with the Thai iced tea mix and I can get the same flavor without all the sugar. The regular sweet tea is also made with this Thai iced tea base too!Parking can get crowded, especially at lunch so I always try to get there around when they first open. And there’s a reason it’s crowded - the food is consistent and reliably delicious. I appreciate that the menu items are not overly greasy or oily too.”

“Literally the best ice cream I've ever had. The first waffle cone I got was chocolate moose tracks and bourbon brown butter. It was so good I had to go back the next day and get another cone. This time it was key lime pie and mint moose tracks. Key lime pie was probably my favorite. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!”

“I have lived in High Point for six years and never been to this place. I always see it when we are in downtown Greensboro and it is always full. Definitely make a reservation as they don't always take walk-ins. The night we went they were only accepting reservations. The service was excellent! The interior was elegant and charming. Everything on the menu seem to be reasonably priced. We started with the beef carpaccio, which was absolutely delectable. It came with toasted sourdough and a spring mix of fresh veggies. my husband and I decided to share the steak for two (Chateaubriand). This was a 20 ounce fillet tenderloin that was served with two sides and two sauces of your choosing. We opted for the creamed spinach, garlic mashed potatoes, cabernet mushroom sauce, and butter sauce. I highly recommend the creamed spinach as it was my favorite. The steak was cooked perfectly, medium rare as ordered. I cannot say enough about the creamed spinach. It was delightful and left me wanting more. We then finished up dinner with the spicy/espresso beignets. These were french beignets topped with cinnamon and dusted with espresso served with a spicy chocolate on the side. At first, it sounded odd, but the flavors blended so perfectly. What a great dessert that paired well with a decaf coffee. This is a great place for a steak and well priced. I will definitely be returning. My only recommendation/feedback for the restaurant would be to use real cherries for their old-fashioned instead of maraschino cherries. This not only elevates the drink, but it brings out the flavor of the Woodford as their house bourbon.”

“I have to shout out the staff at this waffle House for preparing a delicious breakfast for me. I also want to thank them for their excellent service. I was given the smoothest and flavorful grits I've ever had. Not a lump in sight.. The eggs I received were scrambled with cheese the way I requested and they were also delicious. The bacon was cooked perfectly. I am just extremely impressed because I was a bit wary about ordering grits because they tend to be lumpy when I order them at different establishments. The server who greeted me when I announced that I made the online order was a very polite and accommodated my needs. I can't be more impressed by waffle House. I will definitely have to make a stop again on the way home from work. Please keep these wonderful staff members and give them a raise.”

“I have a confession, despite the wide love for this restaurant, my visit last week is the first time I have ever gone. But not my first time at Jerusalem Market! I live very close to their original location out toward Sedgefield, and it's always a tasty place to stop in for fresh food. I also have no shortage of great middle eastern and Mediterranean type foods near me, so going all the way to downtown to eat just isn't something I need to do. That said, I was meeting my pop for lunch in downtown, and we both decided to give this place a shot. It's a great cafe downtown with an excellent location, situated on Elm street with several other choices. The food is made fresh to order, so unless you order something served cold, just keep in mind there's a 15-20 minute cook. This is not something I mind of course. I ordered the Armenian wrap, which is beef tenderloin with provolone, baba ghanouj, yogurt sauce and spices in one of their flatbreads. Comes with Z'atar chips, and I added a small cup of hummus for an upcharge. Personally. I'd like to see hummus come with those chips as part of the price, but it wasn't too bad. For a downtown cafe serving high quality food, prices here are reasonable. The flavor was definitely on point! Texture was excellent too, from the doughy pull of the flatbread, to the creamy sauce and baba. It was great. The Za'tar chips were crispy and spiced nicely. Dipping in the hummus, great combo. I had water to drink, but keep in mind all other beverages are bottled or canned. Dad got a nice fresh salad, chunks of feta and a chicken kabob and also enjoyed it. Overall, excellent healthy option downtown, a very nice cafe run by friendly people.”

“Yesterday was my 1st time visiting Black Magnolia and let me say that I was blown away! I got the Classic Cinnamon Roll and the Peach Bourbon Roll, both were delicious. At the recommendation of another patron in the store, I also bought the Mushroon Gruyere Brioche Toast, I had it later at home with a side of bacon, eggs, and sliced tomatoes, it, too, was mouthwatering. Thanks and shout out to my boo for recommending that I try this spot out. The shop is tiny, but the flavors are HUGE!!!”

“I always enjoy my times at Blue Denim. The food is simply amazing as is the atmosphere. The dinning experience along with the service is unmatched locally. The only suggestion is to have a few more vegetarian and pescatarian options , please bring the tofu back to your wonderful menu. Perhaps more farm to table and wild caught fish (not farm raised as the Shrimp is) would be fantastic. Love this place!”

Our family recently held a fundraiser/ awareness event at the GAC called Plunge for Elodie in honor of our grandson Brooks. This Plunge raised money for research into finding a treatment/ cure for a rare disease called Epidermolysis Bullosa. About 40 people came to Steel Hands Brewery afterwards to enjoy delicious pizza. Royal and Thomas were great!! They featured a “Plunge Pilsner” and donated a dollar from every beer sale to our donation goal and put us OVER OUR GOAL!! Thank you!”
“I have lived in High Point for six years and never been to this place. I always see it when we are in downtown Greensboro and it is always full. Definitely make a reservation as they don't always take walk-ins. The night we went they were only accepting reservations. The service was excellent! The interior was elegant and charming. Everything on the menu seem to be reasonably priced. We started with the beef carpaccio, which was absolutely delectable. It came with toasted sourdough and a spring mix of fresh veggies. my husband and I decided to share the steak for two (Chateaubriand). This was a 20 ounce fillet tenderloin that was served with two sides and two sauces of your choosing. We opted for the creamed spinach, garlic mashed potatoes, cabernet mushroom sauce, and butter sauce. I highly recommend the creamed spinach as it was my favorite. The steak was cooked perfectly, medium rare as ordered. I cannot say enough about the creamed spinach. It was delightful and left me wanting more. We then finished up dinner with the spicy/espresso beignets. These were french beignets topped with cinnamon and dusted with espresso served with a spicy chocolate on the side. At first, it sounded odd, but the flavors blended so perfectly. What a great dessert that paired well with a decaf coffee. This is a great place for a steak and well priced. I will definitely be returning. My only recommendation/feedback for the restaurant would be to use real cherries for their old-fashioned instead of maraschino cherries. This not only elevates the drink, but it brings out the flavor of the Woodford as their house bourbon.”

“Out on one of my walks a few weeks ago, I noticed that Lemon had a banner indicating it was under new management. My first thought was, "told the previous owner they needed a lunch menu". I made a note to try it out later. Well I did, and I was pleasantly surprised. The first thing I tried under the new management was the "butter" paneer or paneer makhani, and the garlic naan. Amazing!! Flavors were outstanding, and there was absolutely enough for three meals, one with the garlic naan and curry, and two with the rice and curry. I've already been back a couple of times since. I'll be glad when they work out a reasonable lunch menu, because prices are a bit much to eat there for lunch consistently. If you do go there for lunch take a friend and split the cost. Hope they can navigate this current economy and stay consistent. Will definitely return.”

The texture of the pasta layers was velvety and tender and perfectly cooked! Just melts in your mouth with each bite! Truly wonderful!!! The decor is simple and functional. Inside dining space was fairly limited and our intentions to dine in quickly changed when we had to wait about 10 minutes to have our order taken, then another 30 minutes to receive our dinner. Fried Whiting was tasty, hush puppies were good though not plentiful. Make sure you order the dinner instead of baskets so as not to miss out on sides. Limited side options and please keep the drink machine refilled! There is good potential at this establishment if they can achieve faster turnaround. Nice concept.Parking: Parking was a bit tight. It could be a bigger issue with a very large crowd (such as GHOE?) particularly if other businesses in that shopping strip are open at the same time.”

“My family and I visited this location for the first time with two toddlers. They had a very fun time with the different games. We stayed for about two hours and arrived at about 1130am. The staff was very kind, helpful and engaged. The facilities itself was clean and free of smells which was very important to us. The restroom was clean as well. I have NEVER tried food so delicious from a food truck before ! My husband, kids, and I were completely blown away ! It does take some time to get your food BUT you are getting good authentic quality food NOT FAST FOOD so the wait was definitely worth it! I had the lasagna to get a baseline as a first timer here. The ragu Bolognese was world-class and had that punchy fresh tomato flavor you can only get with amazing tomatoes like San Marzanos! The texture of the pasta layers was velvety and tender and perfectly cooked! Just melts in your mouth with each bite! Truly wonderful!!! My friend tried the fettucine with mushrooms and said it was outstanding as well! Looking fwd to many more visits exploring the rest of the menu. Waiter was friendly & attentive and even came out to pet my poodle waiting in the car as we left! Just an enjoyable dinner with a friend & great Italian food! “I always get takeout at lunch from here and the food is good and the portions are great, especially for these times when most places are skimping on portion size!My favorite lunch specials are the shrimp pad thai, tofu and mixed vegetables and the vegetarian street noodles. They have different lunch specials everyday. The chicken noodle soup lunch special is also good and it is the same pho soup base they use in their pho soup.The chicken curry (dinner option) is very good and I suggest adding mixed vegetables. The fresh roll appetizer and shrimp roll appetizer are excellent! If you’re feeling adventurous, try the appetizer sampler platter - you can’t go wrong!I love getting their unsweetened ice tea as it’s made with the Thai iced tea mix and I can get the same flavor without all the sugar. The regular sweet tea is also made with this Thai iced tea base too!Parking can get crowded, especially at lunch so I always try to get there around when they first open. And there’s a reason it’s crowded - the food is consistent and reliably delicious. I appreciate that the menu items are not overly greasy or oily too.”

We shared the Kapadokia sampler platter (a lot of bang for your buck - three delicious foods in one appetizer), my husband got the chicken kebabs, and I got the Kofta (lamb & beef patties). Both of our meals came with rice, salad, pita slices, cabbage, and two dips. This place is definitely worth checking out. The (I'm assuming) owner was very nice, and the woman at the register was sweet and put up with our indecisiveness lol. I definitely recommend this place, and I will definitely be coming back. “BEST POKE BOWL ever!!!! I can not express that enough. I have had plenty of poke bowls as well as my fair share of sushi. The tuna and salmon were fresh and all the ingredients were perfect. Ordering online was a breeze. I got the medium bowl but the helpings are huge. Whenever i come to greensboro and i am in the mood for sushi, this will be where i go!! They are not opened on Tuesday, which i found out while in Greensboro, and was sad but i will make my appointments for any day but Tuesdays from now on. That is how good this place is!”

The couches are comfortable and really great for sitting with friends or meeting strangers like we did last night. The drinks were great, I ordered the French 75 and it was delicious. I wish they had more cocktail options on their menu although I'm sure there bartenders can make anything. The staff there is quick, friendly and fast at bringing your drinks.
