Not sure what other people have encountered here, but I want to thank Tavia (sorry if I spelled her name wrong) working late shift on 3/12. Asked her for toothpaste and she gave me extras because she knows one small packet is never enough. Very small, but no one has ever done that for me before. Thank you so much.

I've stayed here twice while waiting for early morning flights the next day and each time was great. The employees were absolutely fantastic, had great attitudes, and were very accommodating. The hotel itself was clean, including the elevator which is sometimes missed by housekeeping, but this was not the case here. The rooms I stayed in were clean, neatly prepared for my stay, and had all I needed in them to make me happy while I was there. I didn't hear a lot of noise while visiting and will definitely be staying here again when I book myself on the first flight out of PTI the next day.

1 night stay, May 25,2022. As soon as we stepped foot off the elevator we were greeted by a mess of popcorn strewn about on the floor. I didn't have much interaction with the staff myself until I had to call the front desk in regards to our TV not working, this was around 10pm. The rep stated she could send someone to look at in the morning, which made no sense as we were only staying the night. I ended up unplugging and plugging back in different cords myself and it finally started working. Whoever made the mess with the popcorn definitely should have cleaned up after themselves and/or their party but it appears the hotel didn't have anyone available to sweep the popcorn until morning either because when we left it was still on the ground. The room was clean, the bed was nice and soft. The bathroom was a nice size but didn't have a vent. There was a bistro that said they served Starbucks, not sure if it was actually open as no one was at the counter so we just kept walking. Overall standard hotel with no major complaints.

It took me 4 calls to make a reservation with this hotel. I would have done it online but needed to get the military rate. Their call center for reservations are a joke! The forth guy tells me that I can cancel my reservation by June 15th but I was placing the call on the 16th....really dude? Just tell me I can't cancel my reservation once I make it! Don't tell me I can cancel on the 15th when I'm making the call on the 16th. I'm scared to stay at the hotel now, hopefully my stay will be a better experience.

The Bistro is located in the lobby of the Courtyard Marriot. The food and drinks are over priced. There are many better places to visit in Historic New Bern
