Checkers offers a great atmosphere and excellent service, with friendly staff making customers feel at ease. The food is decent, with the burger with fries on it being a highlight, although it could be improved with BBQ sauce. The orange slush is a popular treat. Checkers is also known for its great chili cheeseburgers and fish sandwiches. Despite some management issues, the drive-thru staff, particularly the sweet older lady, provide excellent service and help customers save money.
