I had heard this place advertised and out of curiosity decided to go there. The restaurant was definitely a "country kitchen". It was located in a remote rural area and housed in what looked to be an old fashion country store. The employees were friendly and gave a large portion of food. The food was okay as well.
Kind of place, you wouldn’t know about if someone didn’t tell you. Home cooking…large portions….big selections for a “home cooking” place. Simple decor but quite comfortable. ‘And you can tell by the workers that start coming in around 11:30, they KNOW! And about $11 per person for a full meal with drinks.

Some of the best fried herring I have ever eaten. Cooked perfectly to my liking. Service was top drawer. I did eat at a non-peak time, and the hospitality was over the top. I saw some fine looking meals, but if you like herring, this is the place to go.
