“We’ve been to Pub 49 often and I have to rave on their pizza because you wouldn’t typically think Pub + Pizza.Their deep dish is by far better than any pizza I’ve had living in NC for 11 years but everything their pizza maker has made is a home run. The pepperoni rolls - delicious!Tonight I had a 8” personal pizza while my husband got his usual. The pizza was piping hot, fully of flavor and cooked perfectly. This beats any pizza shop and is my now go to for pizza. Try it. You won’t regret it. And please have the deep dish more than one day a month.“
“I've been wanting to try this pizza place for a number of years now, but can't seem to catch them when they're open since apparently they don't open until 4:30 during the week.I noticed they don't offer the typical 'supreme' or 'deluxe' style so I ordered their 16" 'Quad', which is their meat pizza, and just had them to add peppers and onions. The young lady on the phone said you can get whatever you want on it.One of my pet peeves is raw bell pepper on a pizza after it's cooked and I noticed in one of their online photos what appeared to be raw peppers on a finished pizza. I was fully expecting NOT to like it. Boy was I wrong! What a tasty pizza! Everything, including the peppers, was cooked to perfection. I like a somewhat chewy medium-thin crust, with a well cooked crunchy edges, and this one didn't disappoint. Excellent! Not too thick, and not too thin.Another thing I really like, all the ingredients are cooked UNDER the cheese, and there was lots of it! Most places do it the opposite way, but I prefer it this way. In my humble opinion it makes a juicier pie with the flavors melded together better.One other thing I noticed and really like; they cut the pie into strips instead of the typical wedges. It makes the larger pie MUCH easier to pick up and eat!Looks like I've got a new pizza joint to enjoy!Parking: Limited spaces in the front and it's a little tight, but found plenty in the back. Not a concern or problem.“
“Visit often, but this last time the server forgot to but in an order for 2 people. Other 5 people were done eating by the time our food came out, and the baking was rushed so it was cold inside and did not eat it. Manager did apologize AND make adjustments on the bill that were appropriate. We will keep on visiting but take more attention with the servers and ordering.“

“I hadn’t eaten Pizza Hut in 5/6 years, quite honestly, because they’re all SO DIRTY (low sanitation scores, workers looking suspect, etc.). My son was dying to try the hot honey pizza, so he researched & found this location. I was VERY PLEASANTLY SURPRISED by my entire experience there; great customer service, great food, & a great sanitation score! Everything we ordered was hot & fresh, & we had no complaints. I HOPE THEY KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK, & we’ll be returning to this location soon!“
