We used to love this place. I brought some friends and had been given incorrect information by two different people who answered the phone. So what they were serving on Sunday was a lunch buffet. And sorry but it had been sitting there for several hours and did not look very appetizing so we did not stay. In the past. The food was great.

Great food! The simplest recipes from a southern home are the best and that's what you'll get here. That's the best fried chicken and greens I've had since my Grandmother was alive and cooking. It took me back to be a child in her kitchen. Seems to be run by a family and there was a lot of love in the air between cooks and servers. Will go back! It is a must stop if visiting and a Sunday Dinner necessity as a local.

Their buffet is okay but not great. We were coming from out of town and saw their reviews and saw they had been featured in the news but it was kind of a let down. When we first got there it looked like only scraps were left of the meat and Mac and cheese. When a new pan of Mac and cheese came out it was bland and had penne pasta used to make it. The fried chicken was okay. The fried pork chop was unrecognizable and was not good. The side dishes were nothing special. The yams were good. No dessert on the buffet and slow service because they were short staffed. Good friendly people but that is about it. We will not be back.
