A hidden gem but worth a visit. My parents turned me onto this restaurant. My dad is from NYC and grew up having authentic Chinese food. This place is the real deal. The owner use to own a restaurant in NYC. Everything is fresh. There are no heavy sugary sauces, fresh meat and vegetables and their fried rice is not yellow and hard like most places. A wonderful place for those looking for a healthier and fresh alternative. We picked up dinner to go tonight and very pleased. We have had a wonderful experience every time.

Picked up the chicken lo mein, crab rangoons, and orange chicken.I really wanted to find a good Chinese place. Unfortunately, this was not it.The chicken lo mein was flavorless and the noodles were over cooked. It’s typically a dish you can’t go wrong with. The orange chicken’s portion size was pretty small for the $15 price. If you plan to share it, good luck. The chicken was cooked alright, unfortunately not fried like most places tovadd some texture. These seem to have been thinly sliced and marinated in corn starch. The flavor of the sauce was weak but spicy, which isn’t redeeming. The crab Rangoons were decently fried but didn’t come with sauce that isn’t the super sweet pre-packaged duck sauce. The cream cheese and crab were flavorless with almost a sour taste (not the good kind).Overall, I hope we caught them on a slow and rough night. This was our first and last time at this establishment.

Disappointed compared with 2021 visit. Hardly any meat with our two dishes. Instead overwhelmed with onions and peppers. No assorted vegatables as promised. Very tiny portions, yet more expensive than others. Vacant except for us 6pm Friday. Nobody hardly speaks English and speaks too softly. Hard to understand. Tasty.

I came here on friday night. it's a pity because we love roast duck but it's out of stock. The space is clean and elegant. I think this is a family restaurant, so everything is arranged and prepared very carefully. The food is very good to me, the owner and his wife are also very good. I like the way they take care of their customers. Will come to support and hope next time I come there will be duck meat. I really like this place

We have visited Mandalay several times, and the food has always been excellent. The atmosphere is quiet and conducive to conversation. In addition to dine-in, carry-out is also offered. There is a rumor the restaurant may close this Fall, having not quite recovered from the pandemic. If true, don't miss out on a truly great Asian restaurant.

Best asian fusion food anywhere ☆ orders are prepared fresh and all sauces etc.. are in made in house -- the Kung po chicken was excellent along with the Mandalay shrimp - Sweet and sour chicken is also a treat - many choices and the ability to customize your dish -- if you haven't eaten here you're missing out --

The worst meal I’ve ever had at a restaurant. They charged $36 for our to go order. The first chicken dish that we ordered and it had no chicken in it at all. The second chicken dish we ordered was a sesame chicken. They gave us four little pieces of broccoli on the side of it. The chicken was tough and super thin and almost dried out. Then the rice was cold and hard. I called the next day when I got off work to talk to the girl that had waited on us. Her name is Jennifer. She ended up saying that we were the only people that complained about that. I explain this was our first experience with the restaurant and everything was wrong and she said she was sorry. There was nothing they WOULD do about it. I’m sorry, but that is horrible. Horrible customer service. I am a business owner. I will let all my friends know of our experience at this restaurant. Shame on you, Jennifer.

This restaurant was stumbled upon, but my friend and I decided to try it anyway. When we walked in, the restaurant was clean and bright. We ordered our meal, the waitress was very courteous and kind. The food was excellent and fresh. And lastly, the pricing was very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.Parking: Plenty of parking spots. About 50 spots close by.Wheelchair accessibility: This is basically in a shopping center with handicap ramps from driveway to sidewalk and then the door is wide enough for a chair.Dietary restrictions: They have some gluten free options and also vegetarian options.

Rediscovered this hidden gem for Chinese food in the triad! George and Sherry Wu offer some of the most authentic and delicious Chinese food in the area. Their dumplings are sooooo good and the flavors of their dishes are awesome. I used to come when it was Full Kee and their menu was in Chinese only. Today they offer both great authentic dishes and also standards like Mongolian beef and sesame chicken. Would highly recommend all to check it out!

It might be good, perhaps we ordered badly for us tonight. We ordered crispy duck, it was served with hoisin and one of us liked it and the rest of felt it was overly dried out. We ordered the sticky buns which were good, the dumplings were average, we ordered the cashew chicken and kung pao chicken and except for the nuts they were the same dish, both gooey and very very sweet, no heat with either. Great service.

Where do I start...this restaurant is a diamond in the rough. Chef George is an absolute culinary mastermind. Food is always fresh, authentic, and made with the quickness. Service is top notch and the cuisine is the best I've experienced in NC or anywhere else in the States for that matter (better than anything I've had in NYC or San Francisco). Do yourself a favor and work this place into your weekly routine...I sure have and assure you'll love it.
