I visited Ham's Restaurant this past Saturday (July 9th) to hear a local band perform. I have eaten hear before and have been satisfied with the service, food and pricing. I've been in better bars and I have certainly been in worse. Here's where the restaurant should be zinged. The bathrooms (specifically the men's room) was atrocious. It has that typical, old gas station men's room that's rarely seen any cleaning. The smell is awful. By 11:00 or so someone had managed to puke in one of the urinals. The floors were sticky and wet. There were no towels to dry your hands. In my opinion, if you can't maintain the bathrooms to a better level of cleanliness, what does your kitchen look like? How are your foods prepared. Finally, I was served to Captain and Cokes in a plastic cup... really??? It was only when I asked, that I had a cocktail served in a glass cup. Is management present during the 10:00 to 2:00 am time frame? This restaurant really needs to clean up its act.

When we walked in a sign said to seat ourselves in the bar. I'm older and bars are usually to loud for my taste, but we went in. There was a live band setting up, they were blocking the doorway, we had to step around it. Souls have left then, but we didn't. There were only 2 waiters, we understand the staffing shortage going on. The waiter kept walking by saying he'd be right there. He took our drink order. We both got unsweet tea. When I asked for artificial sweetener, he said I can get you sweet tea. I explained I was diabetic and couldn't do sweet tea, he seemed disinterested. I waited, reminded him twice about the sweetener. I finally got up and went to the bar and asked for some. I got some and I see our waiter coming with the sweetener. He asked me why I was at the bar, I told him he was taking to long. He said to me, there's only 2 of us here and I am busy with other customers. I reminded him that I too was a playing customer. His attitude did change a bit. Our food came and it was good, the service just was terrible. I hadn't been to Ham's in a long time and it will be a long time before I go back.

This review is titled: should have checked Yelp first! One day I will learn my lesson. We ordered movie tickets for the Palladium and I was SO excited to see that Hams still existed. I LOVED the OG on Stratford Rd many years ago. So we stopped in for pre-movie food. There are signs on the door that hours May change due to staffing, then a sign inside the door to seat yourself in the bar area. We sat at the bar, and the two bartenders were hustling to serve everyone. The floor to our seats was incredibly sticky. But we ordered fairly quickly. I wanted to customize a sandwich for a wrap, however decided against it with all the signs pointing to a major staffing shortage. We both ordered boneless wings and or course, chips with ranch. I LOVE LOVE their chips. So unique and nostalgic for me. The wings were okay-just drenched in sauce. 3 stars for the bartenders busting it and the chips. Other than that, I saw one other server. Best of luck of them.

Ham's used to be a great place to dine...not anymore! The floors and tables were nasty and sticky. The women's bathroom was flooded with water. It was very hot and humid; the waiter said they have not had air in 1.5 years. My cheese fries were burned and hard and the chips looked like pig skin. There were only two waiters and one bar tender. Our waiter was not the nicest person and seemed like he was ready to get out of there. Soda was flat and water tasted weird. I will never go back.

This place needs a deep cleaning. Only the bar section was open and the tables were sticky. The floors looked like they hadn't been mopped in months. And the ladies room was even worse. Then there's the food. It used to be good. Not any more. I doubt that I would ever go back here.

What a complete joke! Our server had no idea what the drink menu was... She said to go to "hams.com" and look it up! After that didn't work, she said to Google it and she wandered away for 15 minutes. She took our drink order. We ordered 2 different draft beers , Pretty easy right? NOPE! BOTH of the kegs were empty and they had to change them. So now we're 30 minutes in and finally have drinks. I'll spare you the rest and boil it down. The server clearly didn't care about her job. The food was not prepared correctly, she overcharged and had to correct the bill. They served our food in to go containers with plastic forks. Beer was served in plastic disposable cups. Several tables were empty and just left sitting dirty from the last customers. Our table was wiped off but very sticky. It was overall a very bizarre experience. The restaurant was nearly empty so it's not like they were busy. I'm so disappointed because I used to enjoy this place. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Ordered wings- Burnt to a crisp wouldn't feed to my dog .LITERALLY THEY WERE CHARRED!! Ordered Salad- It consisted of spring mix only. The mix was NASTY, SLIMY, & WILTED! Didn't come out until after our entrees Ordered fries with boneless wings- Even teenage boys didn't finish the MEASLY helping of wings they were served. They were NASTY and clearly NOT FRESH! Fries didn't come out til after meal. Wife ordered waffle cheese fries- HOW DO YOU MESS UP FRIES??? THEY WERE AWFUL Ordered Tito's and Club- Club soda tasted flat and sour. ALL 4 LIMES THE LADY BROUGHT OUT WERE OLD AND CONTAINED ZERO LIME JUICE! STALE!! SAD, I don't even know how this place is in business!

Went to Ham's 5 days ago because I hadn't been to one in so long. Ordered the Gobbler croissant with home made chips. It was just OK. Service was just ok. They weren't busy. But fine, whatever. Tipped bartender 20%. Would have never even written review had 2 different charges not shown up on my account. It seems like bartender paid someone else's tab on my card. Not cool. To make things worse I called the GM and she told me I'd have to dispute it with my bank. No "I'm sorry" or anything. It was no big deal to her, Jillian the GM.

Deserves no stars. Your cook is a f****** b***** Came out and told us that we could only get one order of flats and the rest drums on one of our orders so we told her okay and not to worry about making the wings. Then she got an attitude and said "well do you still want your food" and we told her yes we rid and she walked off screaming "they can f****** eat somewhere else you not gon be rude to my people." So we got up and left. Shitty service and our waitress was running around like a chicken with his head cut off he had so many tables and nobody to help him.

This is my favorite restaurant for a chill environment (except on weekends, place gets PACKED) and it's always a great experience thanks to my boy JAMES! Love you man keep doing awesome work. You rock.

Normally I like Hams but today was a not so pleasant visit. We ordered vegetable soup, wings and chips. After waiting for almost an hour, we got our food. Soup was cold and so was the wings. We wanted to get a to go order but the waitress never came back.

Worst food & service that I've had in a while. Took over an hour for a chicken wrap , grilled cheese and a sandwich to be made. When we finally got our food it was cold. After eating and returning home all three of us got sick (GI). I used to think this place was nice for a sandwich or a drink. We won't be back.

The service the food the atmosphere was terrible ?! The tables are so sticky that my menu got stuck and tore to shreds. The drinks were terrible. The food was cold. It was very dark in the booth where they had us to sit. I guess they didn't want us to see the gnats flying around. Never again will I take my family to this restaurant.
