Ham's Restaurant

I visited Ham's Restaurant this past Saturday (July 9th) to hear a local band perform. I have eaten hear before and have been satisfied with the service, food and pricing. I've been in better bars and I have certainly been in worse. Here's where the restaurant should be zinged. The bathrooms (specifically the men's room) was atrocious. When we walked in a sign said to seat ourselves in the bar. I'm older and bars are usually to loud for my taste, but we went in. There was a live band setting up, they were blocking the doorway, we had to step around it. Souls have left then, but we didn't. There were only 2 waiters, we understand the staffing shortage going on. The waiter kept walking by saying he'd be right there. He took our drink order. We both got unsweet tea. This review is titled: should have checked Yelp first! One day I will learn my lesson. We ordered movie tickets for the Palladium and I was SO excited to see that Hams still existed. I LOVED the OG on Stratford Rd many years ago. So we stopped in for pre-movie food. There are signs on the door that hours May change due to staffing, then a sign inside the door to seat yourself in the bar area.
