“Moved here about 7 yrs ago. Dales won my respect from the first visit. Hope is an amazing bartender and person, hang on to someone l Iike that..they bring the candor needed in a business to create loyalty just by bringing a smiling face to work no matter what they have going on. “This is a hidden Gem. We had the oyster sandwich and flounder sandwich. Both were loaded and delicious. The owner came by to see how we liked our food and told me he has plans for a raw bar and sushi next summer. He also said he planned to open the outside and have bands. If you are looking at this give them a try. A+”

“Great food if you're looking for something quick to eat with a fantastic view. We were here many, many years ago and haven't been back due to having children. They are older now, so we stopped in on our arrival to the beach after driving all night. The views were amazing!”

“How did we ever survive in on Topsail Island without Maine Lobstah Shack!!! Having spent years in the New England region, I know good from great when it comes to Lobster! The lobster rolls are to die for and the lobster bisk is the best I've ever had. On top of that, it is a wonderful family owned and family run business. At the end of the day, it is the quality of the food that keeps us coming back! Treat yourself!!! Definately a five star experience!!”

“Visited Topsail Island for the week and found Scoops Microcreamery. Out of everywhere we visited this last week the one that made the most lasting impression was Scoops. The ice cream was homemade and delicious and the staff made you feel as if they knew you for your entire life! We will definitely be back next time we visit! -Philly in the house!”

“Holy Moly I’m so glad I tried this place! I see every time I go home and the smoke coming out of their food truck and I’m so glad I finally gave in! First of all, the owners are so sweet and down to earth! Second of all, the portions are INSANE! I went with the 2 meat plates that come w/ 2 choices of their meat (I went with the pulled pork and smoke sausage) and 2 sides (HAD to get the Mac and cheese and classic Coleslaw) and they did not disappoint! 10/10 will def be coming more often!”

“We LOVE Daily Grind!! It has become one of our favorite parts of coming to Topsail! It’s always our first stop when we get on the Island, and we go every day, at least once a day. The iced lattes are my favorite, there are so many flavors to choose from and they are all amazing! The breakfast sandwiches are delicious, and so are the cinnamon rolls and apple fritters! We have yet to order something that we haven’t loved. Do not miss out on this amazing spot for coffee, breakfast and more! I’m counting down the days until I get to drink a Carolina Coconut iced latte! 😆”

“Great food, even better people and atmosphere. As locals, we are weekly visitors. (well maybe more like three times a week on occasion.) We have NEVER not been satisfied. Ask my husband- it’s hard for ME to be satisfied. lol. But truthfully this is a gem of a spot, and consider yourself lucky if they get to know you and your order. Because this is “that kinda place””

“We love Ricks… we’ve never had a bad time here. The drinks are good, the food is great…. The service is even better. I’ve probably eaten at Ricks every week since I’ve lived in Sneads Ferry. My most recent favorite is the Mac Burger with a side caesar salad and a sweet tea… definitely come here with your family, it’s worth your while.”
