“I'm giving it 4 stars because there are quite a few less than stellar reviews, and one of the common things seems to be the amount of food. I got a hibachi chicken to go. There was less food than I normally get at other Japanese restaurants. It was good and they did give me 2 cups of white sauce. They were small but i didn't run out. That was a plus“
“Nice place to go for a relaxing meal with friends or family. Some of the food items were different than expected. For example, crab Rangoons, I have only had these with crab and cream cheese in a fried dough or wonton wrap. Here it was kind of like the inside of an egg roll with a little cream cheese, not bad but not my favorite. The Hibachi filet and shrimp were wonderful. They have pellet ice whi h is AWESOME!!!“

Consistently happy with service, portion size, nicely seasoned best prices in town this is my go to Japanese spot in Winston now for the quality and quantity of the food . What I get here for $12 it would cost $17 somewhere else with smaller portions and less tasty food can’t beat it.“
“The Thai and Japanese food here are delicious! They have a large menu filled with so many good options. I personally love the Drunken Noodles especially extra spicy. I truly appreciate them using real chili peppers vs dried chili flakes because that makes a huge difference in spice level and in taste. It makes the dish authentically spicy. I also love the Soba Noodles and the Mongolian Beef dish. Both these plates are filled with robust flavors that keeps me going for more. Not only that, the people here are amazing. They make you feel like family and are very kind, generous, and very welcoming. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for flavorful asian food. They have sushi and hibachi. “I came here for the first time this past weekend. Since coming to town 8 years ago, I've been looking for a good, quick, Japanese place and might have found it here. Kotta is nothing fancy, but the food was quick and good. I ordered the hibachi steak. It was cooked perfect. I had a large amount of rice and broccoli and the shrimp sauce was very good. I downgraded a bit because I didn't have much steak in my order (I'd guess < 3oz). But I'm willing to come back and try again sometime soon.“
