Ordered the spinach and goat cheese flatbread! Food was amazing. So many flavors that went so well together. Atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. Service wasn’t the best, but not horrible either. We will definitely be back!

The best restaurant in the city of Kinston,NC. All the food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the menu as a lot of options, not as much as the Goldsboro,NC one though. If you all for something from the Goldsboro location they will do their best to make it for you.

This placed is closed and has been replaced by The Laughing Owl Asian Fusion Cuisine.

Sabor closed and the restaurant is now The Laughing Owl. My food was good, and there was a variety of Asian and American dishes to pick from.

It's no longer Sabor Latin Cuisine, it's now The Laughing Owl Asian-American restaurant. That being said, food is delicious, fabulous ambiance, great staff. Will definitely be going back!

The place is nice and clean but the food is a bland. The prices are high for just fried rice and a couple shrimp with a lil bit of curry flavor 14.00 that's way to much for fried rice. Overall the sauces used to put the bland protein and frozen vegetables in was really good but I want be going back because of the food but for the drinks I will. The waiter had to come back after we placed our orders which he didn't write down to ask us again what we ordered. This place is nothing but an high end Chinese restaurant. But I appreciate the effort you put into the place. Y'all need waiters and I had to take my napkin to put under the table to stop it from shaking so badly. You'll had a server that made drinks and busted tables she definitely needs a raise. Their better places to eat at in Kinston then this place 💯

The previous restaurant at this location, Sabor Latin Cuisine, has closed and The Laughing Owl has taken over the space. This is the same restaurant as the one in Goldsboro - Kinston is now their second location. I haven't been here since Sabor closed a couple of weeks ago. Not sure it's worth making a special trip to Kinston when they already have a place in Goldsboro.

This place is great! We came here for lunch from Greenville bc we wanted to try something new. The decor is nice, it looks much better than it did when it was a sushi restaurant a few years ago. The waiter was great, super friendly and patient as we took about 20 mins to look over the menu. We ordered chicken empanadas for an appetizer. Not good. The filling was just chicken (no cheese, no onion, no sauce). The dough where it was crimped closed was underdone and the whole thing tasted like it was fried it old fryer oil. Then we ordered a pomegranate margarita. It was pretty sweet but still refreshing. We also had the Chuletas de Cerdo (pork chops) which were so tender and came topped with a chimichurri. The Pescado Fundido was phenomenal. It was a very fresh filet of grilled grouper topped with grilled shrimp, mushrooms, and onions. Both the pork chops and the fish dish cane with steamed rice, stewed pinto beans, and a side salad. The beans were delicious. Everything in the entrees were so flavorful and cooked so well. We will definitely go back the next time we are in Kinston!

If you are looking for something different from the cookie cutter chain restaurants try Sabor. We've eaten there 3 times in the past year and love their food, which is always well spiced and tasty. The prices are reasonable and they always have plenty of tables available as the dining areas are quite large.

Enjoyed the ambiance & culture of the local Latin restaurant! Very delicious! Only recommendation would be adding a medium sized arepa to the entrees. Can't speak for all but our entrees were a decent sized portion. $$$ but worth it!

The food is delicious! This is the only place in Kinston NC you will find a fish, red snapper!! The ox tail was good too. I love the service and the managers will welcome you!

We had a very enjoyable lunch at Sabor. Peter, our server, said he was new but someone must have trained him well. Trifongo was a new dish for me, and it was heavy yet bright with the side salad and toppings. Delicious!

The greatest best friend list service possible, and some of the best food available in Kinston. Love this place! Make sure to ask for Michelle. I think she is one of the best waitresses I've ever had

Came here on a recommendation and loved it. It was very slow coming in early on a Saturday and found the place fantastically located and laid out correctly. Only one server and seemed like she was just overwhelmed, but she made it happen. The food, authentic. The flavor, delicious. The environment, fantastic. Ordered what you see on the pictures from the menu and can barely write this as I am stuffed. The portions are generous. I highly recommend. Wish they had a location in Jacksonville!

The food was delicious. The atmosphere was inviting and the servers were friendly. There's a wide range of Latin food which makes this place unique. Family and I enjoyed it very much!
