Food is bland service was alright. You say that You go all out for your customers but mediocre will always mediocre. Been around the country and have definitely had way better Mexican food. Take your own advice and "try harder".

Upon entering the establishment. I was right away. Brought back to one of my favorite places in New Mexico. An authentic Mexican cantina with all the proper decor. However, there was a little bit of Halloween festivities happening with the giant scary clown that affected my atmosphere rating a little lol. Plenty of room and the seating was comfortable and spacious. Not really jammed up on top of another customer. The weight staff was excellent, and got my highest tip on her that I give. We were served by three people. And the one young lady was very attentive. It came to our table many times to make sure that we were enjoying our meal or we're not in need of anything. The food was excellent and there was a lot of variety. Actually a little too much in my opinion. But all of the meals did allow me to find a dietary need meal that meant with some of my food allergies that I have. So I try not to be too hard on them for the size of their menu. But there is a lot. It was plenty of food on the plates and the service where you're given is very nice and big. All in all I did not give it a full five stars on all levels but I did give it a five-star. Overall. I would definitely go back. My daughter and I plan on returning and sharing one of their fajita deals that they give a break up price. If you do. A two for one. Enjoy your meal at El JaunsDietary restrictions: As you guys may or may not know, I'm a gluten-free connoisseur. And there were many options that allowed me to still find a good tasting meal.

I have given this restaurant a few opportunities to come around. I believe food is one of the more important aspects culture. This restaurant lacks culture. If you like the idea of Mexican food and are not really in search of authenticity, this may be place for you. Otherwise, stay away.A couple of experiences from different visits:1. Ordered a simple margarita. It was made with wine. Learned that the server did not know margaritas are made with tequila, lime and triple sec.2. Ordered refried beans with a meal. Server advised they did not know what refried beans were.I only want to advise those of you looking for anything close to authentic Mexican food to look elsewhere.

The food was as good as i could ask for while staying on the lake for the week. I get worried sometimes of the quality when it's a small town area. I didn't have to here. Food was fantastic. Tableside made guac was fantastic. I definitely suggest it. Thank you for a great meal!Vegetarian options: Plenty of standard options.
