This barbecue chain is my favorite go-to place for good barbecue in Brunswick stew. The food is always consistently good, the service is always with a smile, and you can't be there iced tea! The chicken was fried to perfection. The batter was light and tasty the potato salad was like my grandmother used to make. The slaw and hush puppies were excellent.The man who ran food to the table was swift and courteous. I sure wish there was one of these in Winston - Salem, NC. Three generation ordered differently, and all of us were delighted with our food.

We traveled through Laurinburg on a Friday evening a little after suppertime. It was easy to find and plenty of parking. As we got on the lot, I noticed it was missing the smell of burning hickory, whispering to me "come inside." I had wanted to try a Smithfield's and this seemed to be a good chance.
