“Smoke and Oak is just a really comfortable place to go and be accepted by everyone, especially the stellar staff that makes the place feel as close to home as possible. There are countless ways to drink the spirits but I mostly go to browse their plethora of cigars in their numerous humidor cabinets. The atmosphere is second to none and it always leaves me excited about the next time I can sit and enjoy a fresh cigar and warm conversation.”

“I found this place on the “find me gluten free” app when looking for somewhere to go for dinner. It is 30 minutes away but worth the drive. I have celiac so being able to not worry about having fried anything was amazing. It’s been over 2 years since I have had fried pickles and they were sooo good! I will be back for sure.”

“This is the only time I have EVER felt the need to leave a review. But I felt so inclined to leave one since it was such an amazing experience. I was raised in Lexington and wanted to come back to take my boyfriend here since I remember the sandwiches (especially THE BREAD) were so delicious. As soon as we sat down we had the most amazing service, the food came out quickly, and I got to see the look on my boyfriend’s face when he bit into their roast beef sandwich and died in heaven. Their ranch is perfection, the curly fries and potato wedges are addictive, and THE SERVICE. Those girls who were working today at 2:00 PM have given some of the best customer service I’ve experienced in years. My boyfriend joked and said “if you are going to leave a review, let me check and see if the bathrooms are clean to give the full scope”. He came back and said “5 stars” and I said “are you serious lol”? He said “Yeah like a spotless bathroom, I’m not joking - the only bad thing about this place is that it is not closer to my house”. 5 Stars ⭐️ Will be back to enjoy again soon!”

“It’s been more than 15 years since I last visited Speedy’s BBQ after moving out of the area. It’s always a bit of a question after that much time how a place holds up. So excited to see this place sticking to tradition and clearly has not floundered over the years.
This is top of the line NC pork bbq! Always has been and continues to one of my very favorite places to find this style of bbq done right.
The staff is friendly and welcoming and the service on point. It’s been redecorated some since my last visit but continues to have nice country appeal.
I had the chopped bbq sandwich with slaw. I found the best way to eat it is dump it opened onto plate and then drenched in their homemade sauce. Hit the spot!
Definitely wish I still lived closer but will always stop in when passing through.”

“My husband one day told me about this food truck and how good their food was. Everyone that knows me knows that I love to cook and love really good food. Well I tried their food and I would have to say their food is absolutely amazing to the extent I would honestly rather go there and eat over any restaurant in or near Lexington, NC. I honestly eat there at least 6 times each week or as many times that I can find them open. The food is so amazing and my favorite is the brisket tacos. Their home squeezed pineapple drink is amazing too! If you have never taken the time to stop at their food truck to get something to eat you are truly missing out. I know that I will be back as often as possible. They are currently setting up on Main Street in Lexington corner of Cotton Grove Road next to where the old Bojangles used to be. Look for the big red food truck. Normally Monday through Friday approximately 12:00 to about 8 or 9 pm. Please give them a try and trust me you will go back. Hope you have a blessed evening 🤗”

“Decided to stop here instead of the usual burrito places. I'm glad I did. Food was made to order, took less than 10 minutes to get my meal. Came out hot off the grill, generous burrito, fresh ingredients, good ratio of meat, cilantro, onion, rice, and cheese. Served with 2 sauces to experiment with. Will definitely be stopping here again. There is no seating, but you can put a blanket in the grass. Or take away.”

“We used to eat at franks pizza in carolina beach it was the most authentic ny pizza we'd ever had. Unfortunately they closed during the pandemic. Looks can be deceiving because it is in a gas station, but so of my favorite food has been out of gas stations for example Smileys Pizza. The only negative thing I have to say about this place is there's construction right in front of it but they still left access to get in. To get back on the main road take the back way towards Big Lots.”

“Came in for a special order last second, literally, and they were able to get it filled while we were there. It wasn’t a huge order and we didn’t need anything super detailed that we needed but it was very much needed and they did not disappoint. Service with all smiles from everyone working.

Also grabbed a few extra snacks while there and everything was just top notch, from the warm apple fritter doughnut holes to the cannoli’s.
