Totally stumbled upon the gem. I'm new to Weaverville and have been making day trips to learn more about my new area. It was a Sunday so I looked up places to eat in Marshall but didn't really look the menu and just assumed it was a local joint which I am always into. Amazing service by Sarah, such a unique restaurant that used to be a gas station and fresh, Local food. I gave food a 4 vs 5. Because there were no vegetarian or vegan entrees in the menu, nor was there fresh fish.That said, The sides were expertly crafted- including a vegetarian onion bisque, Caesar salad, beet salad and a crispy Brussels sprouts (that stayed crispy!). This was hands down one of the best dinners I’ve ever eaten. As a chef myself I really appreciated the plating skills and speed. The Chilean sea bass was perfect along with the bed of risotto it was on. I loved the fried oysters as well and for anyone who enjoys cider beers the one they have is really tasty. Overall it was one of the best experiences eating out I’ve had. The service was incredible and this place is definitely a hidden little gem that I recommend to anyone.
