Wouldn’t recommend this place to any friend or a family member. Owner is mentally unstable. Happy go lucky talking hundred miles an hour one minute and next visit acts as if he is depressed and angry. Takes his problems out on good people. We locals here in Matthews have learned to stay out of this establishment. To risky.

Saw a side of Bob Klein (The Owner) that nobody wants to experience. He is a SERIAL LIAR and was HIGH the night I came in there. After being a customer for 5 years and being told by Bob (the owner) that he loves my positive energy when I come in his establishment he turns on me and calls me a loser and became very demeaning towards me my last visit. He forgot he ran my tab when I wanted to leave after one drink. He follows me out to call the police on me because he thought I didn't pay my tab. Foolish behavior and even lies to other regulars about a false allegation of me trying to run him over with my car. This man has gone mad and friends I would not recommend you risk going to this establishment because he will call your tag in when leaving establishment. Used to call this guy a friend but he is no longer a friend. Been her over the years and many staff have come and gone because of his mentally unstable behavior. Friends don't risk a DUI leaving this place. He calls the police on his customers over his own errors. There are thousands of places to have a good time at in Charlotte but this is NOT ONE! S T A Y A W A Y!! Beware. Bob... You are lying about everything you just wrote about.First all I was not intoxicated. I had had a great day landing an interview with The Righteous Brothers' in Vegas. Just had dinner at MAcs Speed Shop and told my fiancé I was goi g over to say hello to you. Even texted you beforehand to see if you were working. I came in there in. Great mood and was taken back by your bizarre demeanor towards me. You said you turned music up to not hear my voice and called me a loser from behind the bar. I heard that and was baffled. After all the goodwill I have showed you and your establishment you cut me off after one drink. I was pissed and I can go anywhere in Charlotte and be welcomed . I get that you are a small town bar but the way you cut me off was disrespectful and disgusting. Waving my credit card in front of me when I tried to get it from you after you ran my tab. No friend treats a friend like that. You have made up the Car story. I was parked across the street and not anywhere near your venue when I backed out and proceeded to the light.if you keep up these lies and post them I will look into a 'Defamation of Character' case against you. If you hadn't followed me to the stop light on foot you wouldn't of been in any danger. There is no video and if there is I did nothing but call you an idiot and yes I was upset but the way you treated me was belittling and disrespectful to a grown adult. I never knew that you were that uptight of a person. I frequent lots of places both here and in Florida and I've never been treated like you treated me. I've told many locals and bar owners that are friends and they think what happened to me was Totally Unacceptable. Bob nothing has happened to me. I'm graduating in December with Honors, I'm a First Generation Student, U.S Army Veteran own a business and run a Podcast Program and I love my Life! Life is good! I only came there to celebrate and relax amongst whom I thought was a friend. The question is 'What happened to you BOB? We all loved you and now you treat me like you never knew me. Never again Pal. Your statement of calling me an Uber, trying to run you over in my car and saying I'm going to try to destroy your life and family is all a lie. I won't stand for these lies much longer. I've been on phone with business owners in the area to let them know and they support me.
