This is the best sandwich shop hands down. I've been going to this place for over 30yrs and still do and will till one of us is no more. It's not a fancy place but the food sure is and that's what I'm there for. Give it a try say hello to Bernie (he's the guy making your sandwich).
This is THE BEST sandwich shop anywhere around. I grew up in Matthews and this was my favorite sandwich shop. Bernie always knew what I liked...#13 with extra banana peppers. If you haven't been and are looking for quality food, this is the place. Great customer service, great sandwiches, priced right! Thank you Bernie!

THE BEST. Ten years ago, my husband worked in Monroe and one day after work he stopped by the Sub Shop to bring dinner home. He got the #19 and I have NEVER forgotten that sandwich. His sandwiches are just that good!
