Really cute brewery in downtown Morganton - ample parking, really friendly staff, so many selections, plus wine! There was a lot of comfortable seating and space for a larger group, plus kiddos. Clean bathrooms with lots of gorgeous plants!
This taproom was one of the highlights of our vacation, exploring North Carolina. The town was sort of a random pick, but the fact that it had several breweries within walking distance and close lodging won us over. The taproom was set up in this nice old building on the end of the main part of town. There is a nice newer hotel right across the street. The beer was great and the atmosphere was very nice. The brown ale (Darwin's Forehead) was particularly delicious! UPDATE 12/24/2023 - It's over three hours from me so wherever I can find it, I stock up. Doesn't matter what it is. It's made me a fan of beers that I typically don't care for. Fonta Flora can do no wrong. Everything, literally everything, is superior beer. I also like that they do it all. They aren't known for one particular style of beer. The full spectrum is offered at the highest quality I've ever encountered.
