“Hello all. This Chic Fil A has been absolutely amazing today. My truck stalled out on me today in the drive through and the staff was extremely kind and quick acting. They helped push my truck to an area where we could let it sit until my father came to my aid. The staff was so sweet and didn’t rush my kids and I to move the truck into a parking spot. When my father arrived, we had 4 men come out and help push while my dad steered. Thank you to all those who were involved and spent their time helping a mother who knows nothing about vehicles. The man who helped us the most also brought ice cream cones out to my young daughters. I mean, how sweet is that!? Thank you all again for your warm hearts. The world needs more of you. ❤️”

“20-minute wait but well worth it. The ribs were absolutely fall of the bone delicious. So large of a quantity that I brought back more than half to Maryland. The shrimp appetizer was okay, but I am from Maryland, and I found them very plain (not steamed but boiled) and served cold. The cocktail sauce that came with them was fire though. Certain bites would get your nose a burnin. The beers were good and cold and the service was excellent. The crab dip and popcorn shrimp was also reported by joining family members as good and plentiful. If I am ever back in Mount Airy, I will certainly be back. Thanks for a great time 13-Bones.”

“Me nor my husband had eaten here since high school we came in the other night with two of our children and let’s just say anytime we’re back in mount airy we know where we will be eating. The food the service it was all great. I had the best burrito I’ve ever eaten in my life. We chose to sit outside and it was literally perfect our food was out in no time. The menu was impressive to say the least they literally have something for everyone. I wanted one of everything. I can’t wait to come back and try something else off their menu but I hope my husband or kids get the burrito so I can steal a bite 🤣I’ve worked in the restaurant industry most of my life and they have it going on here.”

“Buffet is ideal for our ladies' group. We each pay going in, and each leaves a tip for whatever they think is fair. The variety of dishes has seasonal changes, so everyone gets something that is either new or an old favorite. The food temperature is maintained and monitored frequently. I wish that the bathrooms were kept up as well. It is in desperate need of a remodel,”

I got a blueberry muffin and a peach turnover....HEAVEN!!! Thank you so much for making everything with love, it shows in your food. We have now decided that everytime we visit family in NC that the new route we take is due to having to stop at the Hillbilly Bake Shop!”

“This is a no frills southern breakfast spot with a lot of choices. We went twice during our 4-day stay in Mt. Airy since the prices were very fair and the food was good. Not everything was piping hot but it was warm and tasty. It’s an older restaurant and from what we could tell hadn’t gone through much refurbishment but that was part of the charm. An old fashioned place with good prices!”

“We absolutely love going into The Brownie Bar and picking up some unique delicious treats. I was finally able to grab a lava molten, strawberry crunch, and a traditional brownie. The lava cake was divine and my hubby devoured the strawberry crunch brownie! Our granddaughter took her brownie home with her but no doubt she loved it just as much as we did ours! Shauna is always warm and welcoming! She makes some of the best brownies that we have ever ate!”

“My fiancé and I had with no exaggeration, the best meal we have had in Mount Airy since moving here a few years ago, at Plaza Del Sol. He had the birria quesotacos (highly recommended!) and I had the California fajitas. We shared the chorizqueso appetizer and it was fantastic. The food was very well seasoned, fresh, and overall delicious. The service was fantastic, our waitress was bubbly and attentive and we were also helped by no less than three other servers just as competently. I never had to wait for a refill on my drinks! We will be back to try more menu items soon!”

“I have to say this was the best sandwich I have ever had from subway. I always get the exact same thing and I get it toasted. Usually the ends of the bread are hard as a rock, but not this time. The young man working there this morning must know something everyone else that works there don't. The bread was toasted absolutely perfect, just crispy enough and still nice and soft. I don't know the boys name but I would like to say thanks for the awesomeness. I'm definitely going there on lunch break again before we head back to Kentucky. Thanks”

“Not sure if we are eating at the same place but I had the beef lo mein and dumplings 2 nights ago and man it reminded me of greasy Chinese food from NYC. My husband who grew up here did say that they got better once the kids grew up and could communicate better with their parents on orders.”

“Okay so let's be fair. Overall four stars.
The only reason I'm removing a star is because of how dark and seemingly dingy the whole restaurant feels.
For the restaurant atmosphere they only get three stars. It's not very welcoming.
However, the food is exceptionally good and I like that they do these special sushi rolls without vegetables in them. That's pretty rare and I love it.
The service is top notch. My waitress seated me, got me a drink, and kept it topped off while also being attentive to all of her other tables.
I would like to see a white rice option added to the buffet as not everyone likes green peas and carrots in their rice.”

“It was the first time we've been inside this Hardee's(hwy 601) in years. Wow. It was different. They were having an issue with a till. Then the younger employee was off work, the older employee seemed disgruntled at the girl. It was a constant conversation with another which appeared as the manager. It was as if we weren't there. I felt it was very dramatic or overwhelming to hear. Not a pleasure to be there for us. Very disorganized and confused manager.”

“Yellow Curry with tofu & Pho ?
The Curry was surprisingly sweet with notes of cinnamon and slight hints of spice thats not overly spicy, more so warm and pleasant. It's always been a go to but the Pho was a nice change up. With the side variety of Basil, bean sprouts, *lime, and a spicy sauce, you can customize this dish to your own liking.
*the lime was kinda over powering in the Pho so add in small amounts.”

“Selection of food is mostly sandwiches. They did have chicken strip plate and hamburger stk plate. they were priced higher than most of the other restaurants in the area. The cheeseburgers were good could have been a little warmer. A kids meal and 2 burger meals was $25. Did not buy any ice cream but it looked good.”

“My wife and I stopped by for a quick burger and ours were surprisingly good. Got the standard Whopper and fries. Everything was hot and fresh tasting. Brought back fond memories of the Whoppers I loved back in the 60s.”

“very good food!!! if your shopping at Walmart and need a family restaurant to go to Saki is the spot to go too! I paid $17 for my food but they gave me sooo much food to last for two days. I got the hibachi chicken and a sweet tea plus I'm not from mount airy I'm orginally from Sparta NC!! I doordash around the mount airy area for some extra money. Some of my friends even order this place off of doordash and everytime they do they tell me great things about this place. The people are also very friendly!! This is a MUST!!!!”

“Everybody knows Chili’s, but they’ve got a new menu item called the Chicken Bacon Ranch Nachos. While I won’t say it is as good as their previous recipe for nachos, this absolutely hit the spot on my drive through town yesterday. Highly recommended.”

“This is a very tightly squeezed desert shop on main street in downtown Mount Airy. The walls are adorned with metal signs with cute and sassy sayings and words of wisdom. The first couple of visits to this establishment i intentionally and purposefully went specifically for ice cream and was very pleased but the more I went I started noticing the baked goods and began to try them and again was delighted. There is actually a whole other store next door specifically for baked goods and there is a large variety from cakes, scones, pies and many others. The interesting thing is they offer ice cream with moonshine in it that is clearly labeled so you are well aware of your ice creams contents. I have never tried the moonshine Ice cream but the regular is absolutely delicious and very cheaply priced. I love the key lime pie ice cream and the cinnamon rolls. I have tried other sweets and those were also yummy.”
