Run, don't walk! This is the most charming lunch spot, in the middle of no where with perfectly fried food what more could you ask for!? Oh yeah their incredible small town service! The hush puppies are worth the trip alone but my favorite was the fried okra. My husband had trout and fried shrimp, my daughter had a hamburger and loved it. Best place to eat in my opinion. Nice friendly work staff. Family ran and best place to take family for a great home cooked family meal. Love the Johnny's family and friends!!!!

Today, I went to Johnnie's for the first time in a while. Chicken and shrimp were excellent. The potato salad has changed and is aweful now. The mashed potatoes need work alsoThey need to fix these issues. Other than that, excellent.
