“Kid-friendliness: I highly recommend Owens for dinner. The food was delicious with generous portions. My husband had the shrimp and grits, I had seafood pasta , and my daughter had the kids chicken fingers and fries. We added two side salads. Dinner came w rolls and hush puppies. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS.the staff was soosweet, accommodating and supportive. The restaurant was beautiful and charming. We plan to go back again“

“Visited this restaurant a week ago, very nice restaurant it was extremely clean the dishes were clean the bathroom was clean, very nice place. The food was amazing. The meal was freshly cooked and tasted so good, I had the chicken sandwich with bacon and all the fixings and homade fries, just delicious ? the staff were so friendly and always made sure I had just what I needed. I highly recommend this restaurant I can't wait to go back!“

“Very popular spot in South Nags Head. Happy hour starts at 4pm. Get there early if you want a seat. Lots of different kinds of beer and good food. Take time to walk out onto the pier. Great views! August 2022 update: Thankfully this place has not changed!! It remains a great place for food and some flavorful adult beverages!!! October 2023 update: Still love the peel n eat shrimp for happy hour!! And the views from the pier are awesome!!“

“I got the hush puppies as a appetizer and for my entree I had the half rack of ribs and shrimp with fries. the service was super quick and the food was excellent. The server was quick and very attentive. Definitely recommend.“

“When in the Nags Head please stop by Lucky Tavern. The staff works hard and they provide a good atmosphere. The PIzza yes, The Pizza is yummy and their bar serves all the drinks you want. They have desserts and are open way late. I alway try to stop by there when. I visit the Outer Banks.“
