“OMG! was joking with the owner tonight while I was in to pick up our 1st pizza from here that we haven't found a great pizza in OBX. WELL NOW WE HAVE FOUND THE BEST! The crust was absolutely amazing! I am picky about sauces and this sauce was the best ever. Cannot recommend enough!“

“Food is as great as the view. I got the lobster roll with cheese curds and my wife got the shrimp tacos with fries. All of it was really tasty. It was Saturday at 3pm and everything came out pretty quickly. The waitress was amazing and helpful (I can’t remember her name but tall blonde with blue eyes). Also, the coconut margarita and piña colada were great as well.“

“Kid-friendliness: I highly recommend Owens for dinner. The food was delicious with generous portions. My husband had the shrimp and grits, I had seafood pasta , and my daughter had the kids chicken fingers and fries. We added two side salads. Dinner came w rolls and hush puppies. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS.the staff was soosweet, accommodating and supportive. The restaurant was beautiful and charming. We plan to go back again“

“Visited this restaurant a week ago, very nice restaurant it was extremely clean the dishes were clean the bathroom was clean, very nice place. The food was amazing. The meal was freshly cooked and tasted so good, I had the chicken sandwich with bacon and all the fixings and homade fries, just delicious ? the staff were so friendly and always made sure I had just what I needed. I highly recommend this restaurant I can't wait to go back!“

“Nicest staff ever! We were cold sitting on the deck upstairs and the hostesses were so nice about us asking to move spots. The service was phenomenal, our waitress was super sweet, and the food was incredible. We will definitely be back again next year!Also, the Creamsicle Crush was one of the best drinks I ever had.“

“This was a local favorite diner type restaurant. We had the regular egg, breakfast meat grits or hash browns with biscuit or toast. The portion sizes are generous. The biscuits are large but just ok. They have plenty of options including omelets and lunch specials.Parking: This restaurant is in a shopping center and has plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: They cater to families.Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair access but the entrance is narrow and they encourage customers to wait outside so there is no overcrowding.“

“Wow! One of the best biscuits I have ever eaten! I highly recommend stopping in and getting some breakfast. Breakfast is the only thing I tried. The line was long but it didn’t take long to get through it. All the employees were friendly!“

“I visited here in October on vacation with my husband for lunch. The food was very good. For entrees, I got blacken grilled fish tacos. However, the star of the show for me were the shrimps! I especially enjoyed the 1/2 lb of shrimp we had for an appetizer. The seasoning was on point! I could have eaten that as a meal. We will definitely be back and order more shrimp next time! Pro Tip: If you get lost easily like me the entrance to the restaurant may be a little confusing as there is gift shop before the restaurant seating. The host counter is on the left side of the building before you past the gift shop. The host will take you past the gift shop to sit.“

“While visiting the OBX, my wife had a taste for fried chicken. We found the Cookshak while conducting a Google search and figured we would give it a try. The chicken was moist and Juicy inside but crunchy on the exterior. The seasoning on the coating was extremely tasty. I have eaten many pieces of fried chicken in my lifetime, but this was definitely one of the best pieces that I have ever consumed. I enjoyed the chicken so much that we purchased a "whole bird" to take back home with us. We will definitely return when we visit the OBX again.“

“We were looking for a place to grab a quite bite for lunch. When we got there we were greeted by a wonderful server who got our drinks very quickly. All the food options looked delicious especially the burgers. The food arrived quickly and my Irish bbq burger was absolutely delicious. Everyone at the table was very impressed with their food. I cater so i consider myself somewhat of a food critic and everything i tasted was phenomenal. The flavors blended together very well. Will definitely be back and recommend to all my friends that visit the outer banks!“

“When in the Nags Head please stop by Lucky Tavern. The staff works hard and they provide a good atmosphere. The PIzza yes, The Pizza is yummy and their bar serves all the drinks you want. They have desserts and are open way late. I alway try to stop by there when. I visit the Outer Banks.“

“We stumbled in here on the off season and realized quickly that this is an awesome local spot. Everyone seemed to know each other, and our bar neighbors influenced our meal choices.The bartender suggested a medium burger that were hand made across the street, and I couldn't have been happier with that choice. It was so much food that my husband had to bail me out lol. He got the tuna sandwich and loved it. We shared an appetizer of jalapeno poppers that were also incredible.We can't wait to come back!“
