This is the second time that we visited the New Confluence Restaurant at the Doubletree. It was absolutely delicious both times. Since they opened under new management, and I am pretty sure a new chef, it has totally changed. Very upscale menu with delicious options. I had the House special, which was a Fettuccine Alfredo infused with blue cheese, chunks of delicious steak, mushrooms, and topped with arugula. Very unique and a large portion. My wife and I went here on Saturday night. It was our second visit and both times the food was phenomenal. It is a really nice waterfront setting and a pretty dining room. We look forward to coming back again and bringing friends.
I am vegan, by choice. I asked for the vegan menu options. Chef Tony personally came out to ask what I liked and I could modify anything on the menu. I challenged him to 'surprise me' with the caveat that he must bring something that inspired him and to not be afraid to be creative and really tap into his passion for food.
