Texanas Fajitas were over cooked and dry. Had a coupon for 50% off second fajitas. Waitress apparently decided the price on menu of $14.43 should be now $18.99. Something wrong here. Waitress delivered our food but never came back until the check. No refills on drinks or hot sauce was offered.

I ordered delivery. I am a fan especially of the chili relleno and tamales. Cerro Grande does right by both of my favorite dishes. I look forward to having them again.

There were so many things wrong with our experience here.1) the menu prices were not honored on the final bill, with no notice to us before getting to checkout.2) service was incredibly sloppy3) food was missing and no opportunity to reorder food was given without us going and finding the waitress to ask for menus again, etc.4) food was not good, some items not fully cooked.5) bathrooms were disgusting. The atmosphere would be a great setting for a stellar Mexican restaurant. Unfortunately, we’ll never go again.

First off, waitress was not very friendly at all! That was the first thing I noticed! Then once my food comes out, it was wayy over cooked and dry!!(Texas Fajitas)!! When I get my bill, I notice the fajitas were $19!!!! The menu it said $13.89…!! When I mention it to the girl, she rolls her eyes behind me I was told when I called her over to ask her about the pricing!!(Shes lucky I wasn’t informed about that before I left the restaurant) And her only response was “yeah well our prices have changed!! She did not honor the price on the menu at all and did not even give an apology!! I will not be going back and I don’t recommend anyone else does either!!

The food is good but they mess up my take out orders half the time. My last takeout, I’m missing a whole plate of tacos. I called the restaurant and the lady said she was unable to refund me. I emailed them next but have not heard back. Not sure if I’ll be ordering from them again.

Had been to Cerro Grande at the old location and wanted to try the new spot. It took 40 minutes for a chicken quesadilla with guac which arrived luke warm, no guac, on a plate that was all chipped up and broken on the edges. When I asked for the guac I was told they were out. The server did not return to check on anything for a long while and when she did, I was just ready to pay and go. On my way out I went to use the men's room, which was messy and the soap was just an open container on the counter. None of these are big deals, but combine to make a sorry lunch. I will give them a second chance and amend my review if necessary.

I’ve got nothing bad to say about our server she was doing the best she could considering the kitchen was clearly struggling with simple two top orders.Regardless, my fiancé and I waited over an hour for our food (a burrito plate and a quesadilla with fries). Unfortunately, both our orders weren’t cooked at the same time and my fiancé had to wait 10 more minutes for her food to arrive. When her quesadilla did arrive it was barely filled and her fries were soggy and cold.My table wasn’t the only one having issues with their orders coming out. One larger party who was seated before us was still waiting for their food to arrive AFTER I had finished eating. That table left due to the kitchens inability to efficiently move tickets. This is now the second time I’ve left this establishment feeling dissatisfied, however, it will also certainly be my last time going here.Save your money, your time, and your palate the displeasure of eating here.I wish that don Pablo’s never left or that cerro grande stayed in their previous location because before they took over this space they absolutely rocked.

It took 30 mins for a chicken enchilada lunch special, the chicken was super dry, and barely any cheese on a plate that was chipped. We didn't get any chips and salsa. The server did not return to check on anything after dropping off food, we finally went up to the front to pay because we waited 15 minutes after we were done eating and she never dropped off our check. There was one other table with customers in the whole place by the way. A sorry lunch if you ask me.

The sevice was slow, took forever to order. I ordered the lunch chicken chimichanga. Overall it was tasty however, I could do without half a head of lettuce on top and they forgot my guacamole. I'm not a big fan of cilantro so the guacamole was a no go for me.

This was unfortunately terrible. We had been here a few times before when it was Don Pablos and the food was better, while the service was always terrible.I've had the same margarita twice and the first time it was okay. The second time was awful. I ordered an enchilada and taco. My taco didn't come out with my food, and my enchilada is below. It was all cold, my cheese inside wasn't melted. I asked for chipotlr enchilada sauce and got some cold chipotle crema. Also, our server was awful. I actually took our son outside to wait because it took her 15 minutes to come drop off out check.

Ordered from here and didn’t receive half of my order. When returned to restaurant they said it was correct. This is now combined with Don Pablo’s restaurant. They are horrible and treat you very bad. DO NOT GO HERE! Go to Arturo’s!!! They are SO MUCH BETTER!

I used to love this place, this was the third time I’ve doordashed it and it’s atrocious. We got food we didn’t order, the food that we did get was awful. Ordered quesabirra tacos and got shredded beef in an ice cold tortilla. Got a random what appeared to be a chicken quesadilla that wend directly into the trash it was so slimy. Horchata was MIA, the chili relleno was A pepper topped with ground beef and rice???? It was so bad this time we attempted to call but they didn’t even answer the phone. That will be the last time.

In my opinion, Cerro Grande is the best Mexican restaurant in town. I haven't been to their new location, where Don Pablo was, but I'm sure their food is still delicious. My favorite is the ACP with refried beans and rice. Fajitas are delicious and the Alambre dinner is also delicious. Going to try out the new location, soon!!

Since Cerro Grande has moved into the former Don Pablo restaurant site, things are confusingly different. Interior is much nicer, but walls, tables, chairs and menus say, “Don Pablos”. Food is not the same, mediocre at best. No drinks on the menu but we were able to order our former favorite margaritas. Our server was extremely slow. 1 1/2 hrs for lunch! Other servers were friendly and efficient. Probably won’t return for a long while. We’ll stick to Arturos.
