We were visiting New Bern on vacation and wanted some pizza for lunch. I found Famous Subs & Pizza on Yelp and checked out the menu and the reviews and we headed to the restaurant. We were greeted when entering and were told to sit where we want. We found our seat and Anita brought us our menus, silverware and napkins. I will just say everything was perfect! Anita did a great job, very attentive but not overly attentive, we ordered side salads which were very fresh and a meat lovers pizza which was the best I have had. Their menu has a huge variety of options and I definitely want to come back to try more. Sorry I didn't get pictures but me and my husband had absolutely no leftovers and devoured everything when it was brought to the table! I highly recommend if you're in the area. Great food, great staff and clean, roomy dining area.

Great food for the price. The reason I didn't give it 5 ? was they ask if we want dessert from to other side but didn't have a menu of there desserts. We were not from there and didn't know what dessert the other side made. When ask what the had she pointed to the day old cupcakes by the register. ? So we passed on ordering dessert and went down the street for milkshakes.

Had a nice ladies lunch there yesterday. Food was good and came out quickly. Our server was delightful. I later stopped at the bakery side, and got a bougatsa pastry, which was AMAZING!

I did a to go order. The pizza is delicious. The subs are worth the money.Parking: Plenty open spaces. Handicap parking available. To go parking available.Wheelchair accessibility: It is easy to get a wheelchair inside.

I got in town a little late and was told everything restaurant-wise closes early, so to find food before settling in. This restaurant was recommended to me by the lady at National Car Rental. Getting to the restaurant, I was hungry, and honestly, there were too many items to choose from! Do I get a sandwich, burger, Italian dish, pizza, or Greek food? I left it in the hands of my waitress, Dallas, to steer me. She was helpful and attentive; she kept my drink full. All around, it was a good experience. The food was fresh, hot, good, and flavorful.

Awesome Place to eat in or come for the Baked Goodies. Service was Great Food was wonderful. Pizza was the Bomb. Along with the Orginal Gyro, and Homemade Meatballs. Wonderful fresh Salads, the BEST Chocolate Chip Cookies I EVER had! And I've had a lot. We will be back!!

There is barely ever a wait anytime we go. The food is really good and the staff are friendly. The kitchen isn't super quick, but they aren't slow either. Orders are almost always correct, and the wait staff is very attentive.The bakery is absolutely phenomenal. I haven't tried anything yet that I didn't like. The cupcakes look beautiful and taste really good. Unlike some bakeries. They have a wide assortment of items from cakes to cookies. The cheesecake is delicious, and sizes are shareable.
