Home cooking and a small town warmth thst you definitely need to check out..... the food was all scratch Madd and really good. The pot roast, the sweet potato casserole were very very good... worth the drive off the interstate....
Invited by a friend from the area that's a regular. We were traveling for a lunch visit and we weren't familiar with the area. Nice size restaurant that makes their dishes from scratch. Good portions and very attentive service without being intrusive. Our friend ordered the meatloaf dinner and took half of it home with her because the portions were huge! I would go back - everything looked good coming from the kitchen, and they make their own desserts, too! I'm getting hungry...read full review

We really enjoyed our meal at The Whistle Stop!!! Emily was our waitress and she has the greatest personality, and it was such a pleasure to be waited on by her. If you want a family restaurant to dine at, this is your stop! All the staff were great! Definitely reccomend this establishment! We love supporting locally owned businesses!
