Food tasted great and was pretty fast to come out, however for $12.00 I only got a small portion of pulled pork. I expect more quantity.

This is the place to go! The burgers are amazing and cooked perfectly. The music is great and not too loud. There's a smell of wood smoke that adds to the amazing atmosphere. The day we were here the TVs were set to fireplaces which was a great touch. I've had Alex and Jeff for servers, and they were absolutely amazing. Pulled pork, beans and collards. Nice quantity of food for the price. Pork was well cooked but could use more smoke: my preference. Collards had a nice bite and beans were good. I like the rustic interior and the quality of the service / flatware. Surprised it wasn’t busier.

If you're a fan of good food (especially smoked meats) and great service check out this little gem off Main Street in downtown Wilkesboro (45 minutes south of Boone).

Always a great experience at Cinder Bistro, a gem of a restaurant to have in Wilkes. You can’t go wrong with the Bootlegger Smash Burger or the Brisket Smokehouse Quesadilla. The Burnout Sauce is awesome as well!

This place is a real gem. The wings are some of the best we've had and get only better when dipped in the Wilkes White sauce. My wife's burger was top notch and I've had both the brisket and the Wedge salad, which comes with burnt ends. Both were delicious.
