“Loved the flavorful foods, great lunch. Order at the counter and they bring it out to you. Inside and outside dinning in the back behind the gift shop next door. Great vegan and vegetarian selections to chose from the menu. The Cuban coffee was wonderful. Jackfruit with Cuban rice and bean with fried plantain was delicious. “This restaurant is almost 1.5 hours away from me and I have gone almost every other week for a few months now because the food is just THAT GOOD. I had my fiance come after I raved about it for weeks and he agrees, it's worth the long drive and we have been back a few times since.“

“Decided to stop here on the way home from Asheville! The food was delicious! We got the french toast, pancakes and the blueberry waffle. The bacon and sausage were very good! They are dog friendly which is a plus. We will definitely be back!“

“My Father's Pizza absolutely sets the stage for quality, scenery, and service. It's reasonably priced, has plenty of space inside and out, and the large build your own pizza absolutely rocks. Coming from someone who loves pizza, there's nothing to frown upon with the way they make it here.“

“We had such a nice dinner on the outdoor patio with a beautiful view of the mountains. Loved the ratatouille crepes! Dog, friendly. Lovely wine list. Highly recommend!“

“It's an Old timey bar that now serves more food than drinks. Big bar and what looks like a 1950's dance floor with tables and chairs. Food wasn't bad - had the fish and chips, partner had a salad. Nothing special. Place was packed, though, and service was excellent (when we were finally seated)“

“We are in town on vacation. When we vacation we look for local and unique places to visit. They have a very creative selection of ice cream options that are made in house. The flavors we tried were great! The waffle cone was the perfect texture. The ice was creamy, flavorful and not overly sweet. I hope to come back before we leave to try another flavor.“

“Overall our experience here was pretty good. In the beginning, our server took about 20 minutes to greet us; there was another server who said it was her first day and she was training that came by to get our drink order, but it took a very long time to get our actual food order in.The food was delicious, my husband and I both got Cesar salads and the deviled eggs to start. For dinner we got the shrimp and grits and the souther fried chicken, both were wonderful. For dessert we split the chocolate ice cream, and our server comped for us after asking if we were celebrating anything and we mentioned it was our first wedding anniversary. It was a nice way to end our evening.“

“We came here for the first time while we stayed at a local treehouse getaway! The food was fantastic! We both got cheese burgers and some pretzels. All was delicious and we got to sit outside overlooking the river. The atmosphere was amazing and the staff were all very hospitable. The first friendly face we encountered was Alisha! We had no idea where to go to order or where to go. Alisha was a sweetheart to us and helped us order and answered all our first timer questions. She was a joy as was our experience to Hillman Beer. Also I’d like to add you don’t have to enjoy alcoholic drinks to enjoy this place. We knocked back a few cokes and took in the scenery.“
