“We were visiting from out of town recently and on our last full day of vacay we drove to Fletcher Village Bakery and Cafe for coffee and bkfst. The food, service, and friendliness and professionalism of the staff were beyond compare. It was the BEST egg sandwich I have ever eaten in my life. Come on, you say. It's just an egg sandwich! What's the big deal?!? But I can tell you it was hands down the best ever. Fresh, hot and delicious. The gods live in the details, and this place has nailed it.“

“When this restaurant opened several years back, I was quick to dismiss it as another "pizza place " As the years progressed I discovered that this place was crawling with business. I finally decided to try it out. Much to my surprise, this place is fantastic! Friendly and welcoming atmosphere, helpful and professional service, hometown and relaxed. “I grab takeout from here at least once a week. They have the best sushi in south Asheville, perhaps even all of Asheville. The quality never wavers. The staff is also fantastic. My only complaint would be that sometimes I have to wait longer than expected, but I recognize that they’re probably short-staffed, and they’re always very apologetic. Keep up the great work!“

“The food and service were fantastic! However, the reason I will return every time I visit Asheville is not actually food related. The owners fed their employees and their families the entire time they were shut down for Covid. The owner’s husband is involved in many global humanitarian projects. While I was reading the Cantina’s historical wall display, the researcher responsible for the wall came and spent about 20 minutes chatting with me about the area’s history. I was moved by life work of the people associated with the restaurant and will return in support of goodness in the world.“

“Food was very different and really great. Grill cheese very different but excellent. Service - they didn't have any room for us so we started to leave and they chased us down to tell us someone was just leaving and we could have the table Ambiance - very quaint. We stayed there with our friends till they closed at 3pm. Would go again if I come back to this area.“

“So I’ve been avoiding this place thinking it was a chain , after many disappointing meals at Gypsy queen(used to love them they went down hill, and holy moly what a dirty kitchen) I decided to try Mr. Kabab, and I was not disappointed in the least bit. After talking with the owner you can tell he has a passion for his home food. He was a chef In the Middle East and everything is home made and hand made. Even his grape leaves take 10 hours to make. This is the best middle eastern food in town hands down… I wish he would change the storefront to better represent his quality of food. !!! Also the kitchen was very clean , which is a must for me .“

“2 words: falafel plate! Soooooo delicious! It comes with warm pita, tahini salad, a fresh salad, and perfect, creamy hummus!! I could seriously eat this every single day.Also, the sweet lady that took my order was so so kind. I didn’t realize that they accept cash only. I was a few dollars shy of my total and she said, “don’t worry about it, you can come back again!” ❤️ There is an ATM inside so I paid up, but honestly, in this day and age, how sweet that she offered to cover it! ❤️“

“I live pretty close to this spot and eat here fairly regularly. This is honestly one of my top pizza spots in the greater Asheville area. I really love everything I've ever had here. I tend to order either the jerk pizza or the Greek, but there's nothing but great options here. Highly recommended.“

“Ate at Abejas for the first time today. The huevos rancheros and avocado BLT with sweet potato fries were delicious. Our food arrived quickly and was presented beautifully. Will definitely be back to try other menu items.“

“Small menu but wonderful selections. I got the street corn and really enjoyed it. I loved the the broccoli wings but I'm trying to decide if they loved me back because they are indeed very hot. But they were great. My wife got a burger on a gluten-free bun. (Unfortunately, that may not always be available. Hope that they make the choice permanent in the future.) I forgot what my somewhat picky son ordered but I saw he ate the whole thing. I did get a chance to steal some of his fries which were really good. Note that they offer 2 types of fries.We will definitely be going back even though they are on the other side of town.Staff was exceptional.Highly recommended.“

“Great lunch at Black Bear BBQ, a great bbq place tucked back in the corner of the shopping center near Hamrick’s. We had the pulled pork sandwich, slaw, mac & cheese, sweet potato casserole, everything was very good. Quick service and great bbq!“

“Really great variety of Thai food options. It is the only place in the AVL area I have found that offers fresh papaya salad. And they also offer steamed tofu, where many other Thai places only offer deep-fried. You can order to your level of spiciness. Personally, I think level 3 is pretty hot, so start out gradually. Great flavors. Many options. Friendly staff. Convenient location.“

“Hubby and I have had the pleasure of enjoying a cold beer and lunch at this establishment each time we visit NC; it's our go to spot when we're enroute back to TN. The construction of the facility is mind blowing, the employees are top notch and the beer is always on point.“
