“Loved the food I tried Sopes with carne asada they were perfectly cooked. Also tried a birria quesadilla and man was it delicious, the tortilla was homemade I likedit some much I got two full orders to go. My f friends of husband also tried the Carne Asada and he said it was really good better than the usual Mexican restaurant him and his wife is visit. The inside of the restaurant is cozy the time of day we went. If you’re reading this review and wondering if you should go do it you won’t regret.“

“I just noticed this establishment and had to stop in and check them out. They have quite a selection of take out menu items. I tried the chicken tamales and they were pretty good. Quite large compared to some other Mexican places. They had chicken and pork cooked different ways and it all smelled so good but I had just finished lunch. I do plan to stop by again to sample more items. They had huge fried pig skins that looked fantastic and I think they make their tortillas onsite.“

“Very nice and professional staff with the best Mexican food I've tasted in Winston. 2/21/2022 update: they have been open several months now and if anything, have gotten even better. the staff is extremely friendly, the portions are very generous, and the food is absolutely delicious.“

“We went there only once. Nice environment, and we were greeted by a friendly host, and service was good.As far as food goes, we ordered 4 different items, the portion is extra large, but taste was mediocre. To be fair, we plan to visit again and try different items.“

“Ever go to a restraunt and it is great then you go back and find out it was a fluke and is now disappointing? Well Frank's is not that place. I to date have yet to order anything that was not fantastic. My wife's crepes were so good she wouldn't even let me try them. Guess I have to go back and order them myself. Great people and great food. If you haven't given them a try you are missing out.“

“My husband and I love this place! It's our go-to on date night when we're just wanting a good meal, nice atmosphere and great service. We haven't found a dish yet that we didn't like. Their staff is so friendly and more than happy to explain that delicious looking dish or drink that just went past your table so you can put it on your "must try" list. Definitely a place worth visiting, often!“

“La carreta is spacious with lot's of indoor and outdoor seating. Service was quick and friendly. They offer a wide variety of dishes. The bar is fully stocked and ready for any request. We enjoyed our dishes and definitely love coming here. They play music is but not too loud. Love the art work around the restaurant. Nice place for family and friends to enjoy.0“

“Came by to check it out, as my niece recommended the place... I was not disappointed!!! The meat department has some of the freshest meats, and great for a "Carne Ranchera Day". We will continue to purchase from this location, and have referred several friends and family, when they feel like making some good and authentic Mexican meals.“
“I work locally in the area and always went to the "other" Mexican restaurant. A co-worker and myself wanted to try something different and found this spot. The first thing I noticed was how clean the restaurant and store are. We ordered several different options to try and were extremely impressed with all of them! I highly recommend the sopas and obviously the tacos. The chorizo is great! Needless to say, this is now our new spot for Mexican food!“

“This is our favorite place to celebrate! The food is excellent! The drinks are excellent! And they have good French fries for my extra picky eaters.Vegetarian options: They allow substitutions of meat in any of their dishes. As well as a vegetarian section in their menu.Dietary restrictions: There are plenty of options available for heart healthy, low sodium or gluten-free dining.Parking: Strip mall parking lot with plenty of room.Kid-friendliness: They have traditional Mexican dishes and American favorites like chicken fingers, fries and personal pizza.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no raised floors Ave plenty of room to navigate.“
