Food tastes great. I would have given 5 stars if I saw smiles on the employees faces. Also, the staff were not using the tongs to handle raw meat. There is a potential from cross contamination if the staff are not trained proper food safely procedures. I understand if the item in question is heated on a hot grill afterwards, but the person should not be going from touching raw meat to cold fresh produce ingredients or to touching fresh bread. Thanks for the great lunch though and I hope the manager invests in their staffs training and happiness here.

Waited years to go back to a Charley's. Finally went today. Ordered ahead. Paid for four sandwiches, two of which were supposed to be large. When we got there they said they were out of large buns. We asked for a refund on the two sandwiches for the difference in price and she said that it wasn't worth the effort to give us the money back. One of these sandwiches were supposed to be a BBQ with crispy onions and we paid for bacon to be added. We received No BBQ, raw onions and no bacon. Another was a chicken california. This was ordered as normal but the sandwich we got had no onions, no lettuce or tomato like it was supposed too. The last one was a chicken Philly to split between my two kids. There were burnt pieces of chicken and mushrooms throughout it. We had to toss half of it. We spent 56 dollars on garbage. Also it had whatever the hell this black stuff is.

1 Review wrote, trashy people works at this location, ditto! So moved✋! Planned on going to Penn Subs for the same sandwich but, stopped here, and the employee girl. The hired help, looked at me as I talked with my husband, "We're closed! We're closed. We're closed. We're closed." This approach wasn't friendly. It was loud and I didn't ask her anything. She acted as if she doesn't appreciate customers. She didn't like that I and 3 other people would have possibly made a purchase there on this day. Business means nothing to this girl. So, she wanted to scare me. Don't come back. Where do they even find these people? What are the questions the franchize ask when hiring? Wow...

I placed an order via DoorDash on 6/9. I know this is a common problem, but I’ve grown tired of it. I ordered the bacon 3 cheesesteak, large. The sandwich was good. However, one half (sandwich was cut in half and placed in a to go box) had next to nothing on it. The other half was as expected. I realize a lot of restaurants tend to fall short on to go orders (especially, if it’s ordered via DoorDash, Ubereats, etc.), but it needs to stop. Not only did I pay for the food, but also paid extra due to the fees associated with the delivery apps. I expect to get the same as I would if I were sitting down to eat in the restaurant. Stop skipping on to go orders.

They cross contaminate. I witnessed 2 employees use the register, fix bread, touch the order screen, open the freezer, take fries out with her hand and drop into fryer. Then go back to making food and check her phone all with the same gloves. When asked to speak with the manager one employee pretended to be the manager. When I asked about changing gloves, she blatantly stated they don’t have time to change gloves. While gloves was sitting right next to them both.

Ordered cheesesteak, fries, and drink.1st order had hair in it.I returned food. They said they would remake it.2nd order has another piece of hair on it.At this point I just wanted my money back.I went to the register. They refunded the sandwich and fries. They didn’t refund my money for my drink. I went back and told them I shouldn’t have to pay for anything! I’m totally disappointed by this. Now I’m hungry but I have no appetite. I hope someone can call or email me back with a solution for this inconvenience!!!!

One star is too much. Can I start with the attitudes of the staff. From the cashier to the lady preparing my food. Unprofessional!!! I waited 30 minutes to get my food and the young lady fixing it gets another whole attitude because I said I asked for it to go. Not one of the ladies were pleasant and not in a hurry to get orders taking care of. Charley’s owners please come check on your establishment. They running it in the ground.

Went to order a Philly cheesesteak. And the guy lay the bread on the counter. That was so unsanitary. Will not eat at this location in the triangle mall Raleigh North Carolina. Today February 15, 2023

We went to eat for the 3rd time and couldnt eat. First 2 times we ordered on the app and when we got there they claimed to be out of steak, but they wouldnt make us chicken or give our money back. Emailed company and never got a response. This time was at 5 on Sunday and they had a line of people waiting and would not take our order. The grill was on and they were making food right in front if us. Employees were rude and there was no reason they couldn't serve us. The mall closes at 6 but the Charley's website says they are open until 6:00.
