The food was okay, queso was a little cold, service was slow and took 45 min in the kitchen for tacos when it wasn’t very busy. It has potential!

Solid Mexican fare and very good margaritas! We stumbled upon this place by coincidence and popped in for a late lunch. Ate at the bar and had a great time trying a bunch of stuff off the menu. Everything was super fresh and tasty!

We traveled from Chicago to North Carolina to visit and had to try this fantastic place. Customer service was great ? and we sat at the bar. We tried the mole and it was delicious. The margaritas are great, flavorful and made to perfection. We will be back just to come to Cantina.

First time being here - the food was amazing! We got the house chips with salsa - if you're looking for chunky salsa though, this wouldn't be for you. But the flavor was great and I prefer this texture. We ordered chicken fajitas which came with large pieces of chicken on a bed of fajita veggies, along with cilantro rice and beans. This also came with 3 street tacos type tortillas and guac/cheese/pico. My kid got the al pastor tacos which she loved as well (don't eat pork so I can't comment on them). The server was very attentive and refilled beverages quick, as well as gave us chips and salsa to go. The atmosphere was nice - art along the walls (my daughter gave me a lesson on Frida) and nice Spanish Christmas music playing which was a very nice break from your traditional music and that Mariah Carey Christmas song. Anyway - highly recommend this place. PS, park in the underground parking garage so you don't have to fight for a spot.

Bland. I was very disappointed that the food was so tasteless. First, you have to pay extra for chips and salsa. Unusual in Wake County. Also NOT WORTH IT! The chips were warm and good but the salsa was runny with no kick at all. I ordered Chicken Fajitas with corn tortillas. They were the smallest tortillas I've ever been served with fajitas- more like mini tacos. The chicken had no flavor at all. Couldn't they have squeezed some lime on it? Also- just bland. The fajitas came with sides of guacamole, black beans, cilantro rice and pica de gallo. All lacking flavor. With so many really good Mexican restaurants in the area don't waste your time or money here. I won't be back and I'd be embarrassed to bring anyone here.

The food here was amazing. I got a Arroz con Pollo (chicken with rice) dish that was delicious. The guacamole that came with it was so fresh and has a great combination of flavor. I wish it was not so far away, and I hope to come visit again!

We we’re really looking forward to eating here. We ordered a steak burrito, chicken quesadilla, chicharrones & a side of rice. The rice was mushy, green and heavy on the cilantro with no other flavors. The burrito had more beans than anything & the steak was absolutely tasteless. I mean no seasonings at all. The chicharrones are not authentic chicharrones, they are american style pork skins with seasoning on it. I am truly disappointed about the chicharrones as they are hard to come by. But the chicharrones had more seasoning than the steak. The only thing that was actually delicious was the chicken quesadilla. Thats the only reason I gave 2 stars & the portion sizes are great. But for the price which we paid $45, the food needs to be way better than what we experienced today.

Super Delicious food-- got the vegetarian sweet potato tacos delivered and should have subbed the corn tortilla for flour because it was a little bit soggy. That's my one regret. Flavors were great and really unique, and absolutely loved the chips, salsa, and guacamole salsa. Hubby loved his chicken tacos. Will definitely order again.

I was looking for a wedding dinner reservation and none of the restaurants in Raleigh accepted big groups reservations without contracts or deposits, I was running out of time. We wanted something simple and welcoming for our closest friends. I called Driftwood Cantina and without hesitation I was able to do a reservation for 18 people plus they have a private room and they did not asked for any service fee or anything additional. The waiter was exceptional and we had such a great time.
