We eat at El Rodeo at least once a month. It is our favorite Mexican food in the Raleigh area. The food is delicious, and the service is friendly and very quick. We've had many dishes, but our favorites are the Enchiladas Rancheras, Camarones al Mojo de Ajo, and the Nachos Supreme. We always get their horchata, too, and have enjoyed their margaritas, as well.

If i could give it zero stars I would. Asked for a chicken lunch fajita salad.. can’t eat beef for medical reasons..they bought me beef.. told waiter, he just stared at me.. and asked, “don’t i like it? is there something wrong”I repeated, i ordered chicken… I even said it in Spanish.apologized, and said he would make me another…10 minutes later, bought me another Beef.and when I complained, left the check on the table, and cut me a look??!!!

The salsa and chips started an even perfect meal. Yes, I ate way too much. ? The place was full, and the servers were moving as fast as possible without right out running. The salsa and chips were delightful. Then came the meal. Sizzling and popping, WOW Shrimp fajitas... and the rest was delightful ?.
Great food for an amazing price with lots of good lunch specials. It's very difficult to find affordable, good, food in downtown Raleigh but el Rodeo checks all the boxes!

Wonderful service here! They do have a large menu with lots of options to choose from. I ordered their birria tacos, I thought they were okay a tad oily and not the right consistency. However, the fajitas and the quesadilla were great! Ordered their large house margarita and it was good and strong! Located downtown.

I've eaten here twice and gotten take out many times. The food is always tasty. I've tried to get an enchilada with chicken and cheese in it multiple times, but they cant do it for some reason so I always just get one chicken and one cheese one and alternate bites. Beef chimichangas, chips, salsa and shrimp quesadilla have all been good in addition to the enchiladas.
