Soup is great. Entrees are better than normal strip mall Chinese restaurants. We have been about 10 times and never had a bad experience!

This is my moms favorite place for Chinese food! Being from NY this place reminds us of home. Table cloths, the good crispy noodles with duck sauce and hot mustard on the table. The food is good (although honestly not always the same lol hence the 4 stars not 5) Tonight we had the hot and sour soup and it was delicious (last time i had it it was not as good), wonton soup, pineapple chicken (my mom LOVES this dish, i think it's very sweet) and Hunan beef - the beef was extremely tender and delicious. We didn't have them this time but their egg rolls are yummy as are their dumplings! Overall i would highly recommend if you like to sit down and have Chinese in a restaurant (they do a huge take out business also)

Our new favorite go-to Chinese place! All the food was very full flavored and better than you'd expect. The prices are great, too. Got the lo mein, hot sizzling beef, chicken and broccoli and egg rolls for under $50

Imperial Gardens is highly rated in the area as the best Chinese food around. I must say the food is very tasty but every order we have picked up in the last couple of years has not been what we ordered. Therefore , we started doing takeout from another restaurant that was very very good and fresh for the last couple of years. Unfortunately they have closed due to their lease. Tonight we went back to Imperial Gardens for take out and I specifically asked for NO mushroom, NO salt yet my garlic chicken had both. The order as well as the container indicated NO MUSHROOMS. Food allergies are nothing to play with; their response was I'm sorry. I so realize mistakes happen but this could have been very dangerous for some patrons. Hopefully they will be more in tune to their food preparation. Just be aware if you have made specific requests or dietary needs or restrictions if you order from there. I'll be looking for another Chinese restaurant in the area. I'm sorry to say it will be awhile before we patronize them again.

About 5 years ago my family moved. In transition I stayed (with our cat) at an airbnb near this restraunt. The woman who owned the home told me I had to try Imperial Garden (I was planning on Cheesecake Factory)I'm SO GLAD she suggested this lovely restraunt.Sit down, made to order Chinese reatraunts are dying out unfortunately. This one was GREAT from the second I walked in.People there are really nice...I live an hour away and try to eat there at least once a year...I was remembered every time I returned (which is always nice) I like to go when it's cold out and get hot Oolong tea :) and it was a nice surprise to have a fella playing Christmas songs on the piano.I really liked the hot tea, wonton soup, dumplings, and sesame beef.I get the booth in the far corner....unscrew the little light bulb at my table..and pop a movie on while I eat solo...and I am a happy man! Can't wait to go back.

Tried their food tonight for the first time and I wan't a huge fan. I ordered their Cashew Chicken and Pro Fried rice for takeout. Both dishes came in this dark brown sauce which really wasn't good at all. The rice also didn't seem very fresh. On the plus side, my daughter was happy with the pork dumplings and the Won Ton soup was pretty decent.

I have been a frequent customer of Imperial Garden for a few years now. Typically, I get takeout by phone order, and my food is consistently ready by the time I get to the restaurant. I have never gotten anything there that I did not like, and the orders are invariably correct. I always enjoy speaking with the owner/hostess who is very friendly and in control of incoming and outgoing customers and the phones!
