I work downtown and this is one of my favorite places to eat. Their breakfast is cheap and delicious, lunch ranges from a ribeye steak sandwich to a club sandwich that's stacked high. They have chicken tenders, and hotdogs, fries and onion rings. It's a snack bar, but it's far much more than just snacks!
Don't be fooled by the name- the Legislative Office Building Snack Bar is more than just a snack bar! They serve a full hot breakfast complete with made-to-order eggs. For lunch, they have a limited assortment of hot dogs, soup and sandwiches etc. The food is served cafeteria-style. The medley of tastes is pretty plain, but it's what you would expect for a small cafeteria. Most importantly, the price is right. You won't spend more than five bucks for an entree, side and drink.

I work for the General Assembly and have eaten lunch here most days for over five years. Their breakfast is the best in the area. The cooks will fix your eggs exactly as specified. Bacon is perfectly crisp and tasty. Everything is good, filling, and cheap as dirt.
